  1. Yes, as usual, but last moment possible.
  2. This young lad (sorry, don't know who he is) is nailing it for the most part.
  3. We know Lansdown will sit on his hands. The option is to get a manager in above Manning. Unlikely as well. SL will double down and we may well have this speech again:
  4. Well you can for the goal. Soft as butter.
  5. Yes, I know that hence the question "add up all the scenarios". Point being, not so much in the great scheme of things, as you concur. The irony about Pearson "on the grass" is that he isn't a coach in the true sense of the word. Similar to types such as Martin O'Neill in his pomp, it's about gravitas. presence and respect. Alex Ferguson at the top of that tree. We need an experienced head, and bloody quick.
  6. Compensation to Oxford and 3.5 year deals. Add up all the scenarios, and how much is that and how much will it cost (£) to bin them now or very soon? The cost of relegation is surely much, much more. Second, LM is a "Head Coach". Maybe he does indeed have very good coaching credentials, but perhaps we need a MANAGER. I believe we do, and could bring one in above Manning. Constructive dismissal? I think not. Pearson wanted to be a Manager, you can see why. We need a man manager and a motivator.
  7. Thank you Sir John Betjeman.
  8. Plenty of time to save up then.
  9. Manning will be crying infamy soon ...
  10. Take a look at Luton 2 Villa 2 and you will see what positive looks like. It is not what we've seen in the last 3 games.
  11. Actually, scratch the bit about scoring first, I just remembered my last mid week trip to Portman Road: https://www.11v11.com/matches/ipswich-town-v-bristol-city-10-december-2008-283712/ Stern John, another player we turned from from footballing don into footballing donkey.
  12. let it out. Then kick something. Not small and furry though.
  13. In better news, we will have less of the ball and will have to play on the break, to a certain extent. As I said elsewhere, this team of ours really has to get the first goal to have any sort of chance at the moment.
  14. Was for BCFCGav, but thanks anyway!
  15. How do we set up against Ipswich and who plays (if available)? What should the plan be based on the last 3 games and what have they told us?
  16. Ok, do we beat Ipswish, and if so, how?
  17. Indeed, key point. Manning just does not come across as a leader. Where do you see the next win Dave? Serious question.
  18. LIke this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012–13_Bristol_City_F.C._season
  19. +, this is a team that really has to score first.
  20. Yes, Look at that table tonight. Sheff W, 4 wins in last 6, QPR, 4 wins and a draw in the last 6, Huddersfield, 3 wins and a draw in the last 6, teams that were dead and buried according to some a few weeks ago. This division is a b*stard and you can take NOTHING for granted. As I said elsewhere, Manning needs 3 wins and with some style in the next 5 otherwise the pressure will really bite. Listen to him. Does he inspire? Does he ****. Look at his last interview before he was sacked by MK. Identical to the cobblers he's trotting out now.
  21. When was the last player interview post defeat? Be interesting to hear their words and watch their body language.
  22. L.J. esque, without the "jokes".
  23. Yes, not his fault again. Done all lthe work, given them the tools, step up and be counted, blah, yawn, blah:
