Indeed Reid should right midfield, LF left and Tomlin in the centre, but most of all we need TWO UP FRONT

Bets me why we don't play Freeman Left midfield, Reid right midfield and Tomlin down the centre. Perhaps it's too obvious to have the left footer on the left and the righ footer on the right to fit into LJs scientific views.

We played really well up to gifting them the first goal, might have had a pen challenge on Tammy. Poor defending for goal, starting with Joe.B allowing his man to get cross in unchallenged and thereafter it was all huff n puff. Telling how much their goal knocked the stuffing out of us, confidence must be at all-time low. Not sure where we go from here, just got to hope we can persuade 1 or 2 decent players to join us in Jan, and also hope the likes of Wigan & Blackburn don't pick up. Worrying times.

Tomlin has, predictably, wandered into the middle looking for the ball leaving the left side open (I'm not blaming Tomlin, he is a no.10 and should be played there not asked to cover left midfield).

Yep and the reason why yet again LJ has stuck Tomlin at the left, is his obsession with playing two holding midfielders in both Pack & GON.

We need to take off one of GON / Pack and bring on Engval or Wilbs second half

Unfortunately at LB, we either have the positive threat on the overlap of Joe - but defensive weakness, or the more solid defensive of Golbourne but no attacking threat at all...
