Another one completely blind to the overall problem . I agree with the poster above . On the ignore list you go.

I was wondering why I couldn't see Hampshire reds posts! Obviously I got bored a while before you two. Welcome to the club.

Terry coopers training ground, was the car park outside the old east end.

    Or sometimes the park.

Never did rob newman or alan walsh any harm..

Every player wore adidas samba trainers too.

Came in handy when the ball was kicked in the river in the car park.

Whilst I don't think that was true all the time, I do remember walking back from school on more than one occasion to see the players playing 5 a side in trainers in the car park, so yes this definitely did happen.

Why not everyone from those countries are bad people. If there is evidence of foul play then I understand but could end up with a gem like Leicester did .

We aren't talking about the general population though. To obtain real wealth in Russia, China or Saudi Arabia, almost certainly means a direct connection to a corrupt and/or authoritarian, human rights abusing regime. Maybe some Russian money might be legitimate. Regarding your Leicester comment - that investment came from Thailand.

Why worry anyway, I'm welcoming this investment to free up my Saturday's :)

Still, Lansdown’s out and some form of dubious source of Russian, Chinese or Saudi money in then eh? Cos that the only places where that level of investment is going to come from….

I'd never set foot in the ground out of principle if our owners/investment came from those places, so bring it on.

I thought Scott's miss against Forest was bad but Barnsleys in injury time was the worst I think I have ever seen. The ball must have been on the line and their player managed to head it over.

About time luck went our way.

All I know is that I birthed more than a dozen kittens during the last quarter of the match. I didn't have the best view of that incident, all I remember is being flabbergasted and mightily relieved not to see the ball in the back of the net.

Weimann and O’Dowda (you won’t like this) sometimes (not always) press on their own and just get played around.  They never quite get there.  Some of that is because we are too stretched as a team, but not always.

When you mentioned COD 'getting there' (or not) this is the question my mind came up with:

If, every second, COD covers half the the remaining distance to his target player, how long does it take him to get there? And "not as long as it does at the moment" isn't the correct answer.

Alex Scott he dives when he wants ?

Remember the days when Jurgen the German joined Spurs and introduced the English game to the art of diving. Much to the distain of proper fans. 20, 30 years later (how long has it been?) and that is bloody nothing compared to the crap that goes on today.

Have you seen the interview where Nige discusses Louis?

He basically says he’s not fit enough.  Not fit enough to train with the first team, as it’s too intensive for him.  Therefore, he hasn’t thrown him on the scrap-heap, but stated that he’d put him on an individual plan and challenged Louis to attain the levels required.  Some of that fitness work will mean he doesn’t always play for the u23s too.  Nige admits he can have a short burst impact, but what if he needed to come on after 10 minutes….he just couldn’t last.

    Those are from Nige’s mouth.

Who’s fault is it?  Looks like you’ve decided it’s Nige’s fault.  He’s dangled the carrot.  Why don’t you wait and see.

Re PL strikers on loan. I’m sure there were plenty he could’ve signed, but are they better than Martin, Weimann, Wells, Semenyo, I.e. are they gonna take their minutes. Let’s spend £10k p.w. and loan fee on a PL starlet who doesn’t play?  Keinan Davis’s name is often banded about….weve no idea whether we tried or not…but he’s not played through injury this season.  Who else has taken PL strikers on loan in the Champ this season?

Good poiunt re Britton. Since he hasn't signed a new contract I guess there's little point in investring much hope of him coming through.

And I honestly think loans are not a very good way to 'strengthen' your team - short term advantage (possibly - but a risk) leading to mid/long term disadvantage.

I largely agree with this with two caveats.

    1) I am going to fault Baker for the penalty. Mistakes happen but, for a senior player to make that sort of challenge late on was undoubtedly a mistake.

    2) We did not react at all well to the goal going in. It was probably a handball but we shouldn't have been that easy to penetrate immediately after conceding.

Nonetheless I'm gutted for the players. They worked hard and did well for 90-odd minutes only to throw it away in a minute of ridiculousness.

Number 2 is the more worrying aspect to me. That just sums up how mentally weak we are.

LJ or Holden never used Pring or Scott, its NP who is bringing through the youngsters and actually playing them.

We have been awful at home since Cotterill left, this isn't a now issue thats popped up out of the blue, this has been building up for years.

I don't think you can blame LJ for not using Scott. If he was here under LJ's tenure he'd have been 16 at most.
