  1. It was on his wrong foot but he had a lot of time to pick a spot anywhere in a clear third of the goal net. Not keeping the ball low is criminal.
  2. In case anyone else was buying a last minute ticket today (fools), mine took nearly 4 hours to arrive by email. Er, at least I got it right? Will I regret going more than I would have regretted not going? Probably For those on the hesgoal stream, I'm the one in the Dolman.
  3. So I decided to bite the bullet and go. Ticket added to my account, but nothing emailed. Never had a problem before (ticket emails are instant or take a minute or two), and no it is not in the junk mail folder. That was nearly an hour ago. I'll give it a couple of hours before I panic. Has anyone else had any issues today? (Unlikely I know, 'cus no-one on here is going )
  4. What about Kevin Mabbutt. Surely better than Britton upfront based on career to date. Plus he'd be able to select a decent bottle of wine for the post match wind down.
  5. Almost worth it to troll the OP https://www.ccfcstore.com/replica-kits/home-kit/adult/954_coventry-adult-2122-home-shirt.html
  6. I guess the club think the prices are pretty good compared to a walk up price, but fail to acknowledge that 80% of supporters are season card holders who won't see these prices as such a good deal. And given that U12/U19/U22/Adult prices are £1/£5/£10/£22, I don't see the average income per ticket being much over £10 anyway. Let's say they sell 4,000 adult tickets at £22 (including Fulham fans), if they set the top price to £15(£12) they'd need to attract an extra 1,870 (3,330) adults to generate the same ticket income. It goes without saying that there would be an intangible goodwill benefit from setting low prices as well. I'll decide on Friday whether I'll be attending in person. I only live around the corner so it would be less hassle than a jittery hesgoal stream for me.
  7. If Wells had been vaccinated at the pre Christmas club mass vaccination event, I'd think the Media Team would have made a point of featuring him in the event photos. On the balance of probability I'd say he was the unvaccinated player, but as you said, we won't know for sure. As for Atkinson, he could easily have picked up the virus post vaccination, and it could be a contributing factor to his performances having dropped off recently.
  8. Get that 'reporter' a job at Bristol Live.
  9. Glad I've no idea what that fashion item is. I'll keep a look out later for Baker boy caps and Nancy Drew hats.
  10. "Play like we did against QPR". Give away a pen, get a player sent off early in second half, and let a goal in right at the end? No thanks. We have to be better than that. Millwall won't give us space to attack at will down our left in the first half. They will just sit in and try to catch us on the break. Are we going to be good enough to break them down? I think it's going to depend on Scott and Seymeno. We also need a plan B for when plan A (I assume it's a plan) doesn't work. We need to pull Semenyo off when he's flagging. I will be very concerned if we can't muster up enough guile to beat Millwall, but am not really expecting it to me anything more than a dull game, with probably more action in the Atyeo than on the pitch. Hope to eat my words later,
  11. Maybe the posters who thought he was next The Messiah and that he should be starting ahead of Martin will pipe down a bit now.
  12. I didn't see the incident clearly at the time even though I was in a fairly good position to (see various posts over the years relating to my less than stellar vision, especially for night games). I assumed (making me an ass) that it could have been a bit of a dive by Scott. But by God, that's basically an off the scale nailed on penalty.
  13. I was listening live this morning whilst walking over the Suspension Bridge in the rain. Luckily for me I'm a little less pessimistic than Ian Gray
  14. Nketiah, tell me whats wrong Do you want to start on Sunday?
  15. What I want to know is how we move on @Hampshire reds in the transfer window, and why @GrahamC isn't making proper use of the ignore button
  16. He seemed to be walking off before the ref got a card out and I couldn't see him look back to take the cards. Maybe the ref told him he was off.
  17. They dont fanny around waving their flags nowadays - they are miked and talk to the ref directly. It would be impossible for me to see whether they discuss dubious decisions freom where I sit (my vision if less than perfect (hell, I'd make a good ref)).
  18. He could be both (or neither according to my legal counsel, but what do they know).
  19. Ha, yeah.We could quote bookies odds and you'd still be laughing this time next year. I'd imagine true odds to be between 15-1 and 20-1.
  20. I think the main issue was that there was no-one challenging the scorer. You connect with those and the keeper will usually be in no mans land.
  21. That wouldn't be a conclusion though, it would be an accusation. Be careful, we don't want the Welsh FA storming the Tobacco Factory and sabotaging the otib server.
  22. It is listed under clause 17 of city's rules here https://www.bcfc.co.uk/media/64171/agl_2122_covid19_rules-6.pdf as a valid proof of vaccination. That's not to say they know what they're doing at the Gate, and as has been mentioned the passport QR code validation was next to useless against Huddersfield. I'd stick a copy of the pdf on your phone just in case ...
  23. Obviously does not want to be in @Mr Popodopolous's gang.
  24. I wonder what Richard Gould has in store for season ticket (sorry 'card') renewal prices? I'm about the limit of what I'm willing to pay to watch a competent Championship team (and we're not that). My money's on a 30% increase: "thanks for sticking with us, but we're twisting."
