  1. 1-1 Benzema. Six minutes added time.
  2. Sounded a cracker from Mahrez. I wonder who brought him to English football? ?
  3. Here's the Championship table with the runners and riders for the play-off places... And here are Saturday's fixtures. Huddersfield are guaranteed fourth place, and a home tie in the second leg of the play-off semi-final, but could finish third. Do they stick, or twist? As it stands they'll play Sheffield United, but the Blades face a tricky home game against Fulham, which could let in Boro, or the long-shot Millwall. Luton should beat Reading at Kenilworth Road.
  4. Very true, and I bet Leicester fans were quizzical about that fella he signed from Fleetwood. And the guy from Le Havre.
  5. You're too kind Neil! Ian does have a lot to say and you've been an excellent, refreshing counterpoint to his arguments. Long may it continue. I'll have to up my game next season. ? By the way, I'm surprised that no one has responded to your comment about the return of Marlon Pack.
  6. How are they going to have time to show Weimann's 10 goals in 10 minutes?
  7. Luton home to Reading. Sheffield United host Fulham. Boro away at Preston.
  8. Will they play a full strength side on Saturday? Below Forest on goal difference and guaranteed 4th, but can still finish 3rd with a win, if the East Midlanders slip up away to Hull.
  9. Surridge was definitely onside when the ball was played. Have you tried switching the telly off, and on again?
  10. He has plenty more to say, including taking me to task over Callum O'Dowda. There's also a 'revelation' from Neil about the possible return of a former player this Summer.
  11. https://foreverbristolcity.podbean.com/e/city-flying-high-in-end-of-season-demolition-of-hull/ The perfect way to sign off the 21/22 season at home as City scored 5 without reply against the Tigers. The W-S-M strike combination scored all the goals and provided the assists in a sparkling display which augers well for next season. Ian, Mark, Neil & DaveP discuss the game, transfer speculation plus the outside investment in the club owner Steve Lansdown says he wants but at what price. There's no talk of flying shoes or old player interviews in this episode.
  12. Cantona-esque, as my friend Paul said today.
  13. In these austere times that was Prosecco football from City and a Cantona-like finish from Weimann. Just 2 more from handy Andi to beat Tammy's 23 League goals in 2016/17.
  14. A wonderful broadcaster who puts a smile on the face of Saturday afternoons. Keep well Kammy, you'll be sorely missed.
  15. The Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport, who is privatising Channel 4.
  16. Now don't tell stories.
  17. As Orphan Annie once sang, "Just thinking about tomorrow....." Weimann to score 4 and beat Tammy Abraham's total of 23 in 2016/17. When in Roma... City to achieve back-to-back wins for the first time this season. Better late than never, or better never late? Massengo scores first City goal. Paramedics administer smelling salts following mass fainting. Rocking horse shit found in lower Lansdown. Any more?
  18. Yes, but I have no life, or friends. Its tough.
