Adriano was the centre-piece of the 'Always Believe' feelgood factor of 2006-2008, that encompassed everything we achieved over 2 wonderful seasons. When Adriano raised his hands to the skies before games, we all believed and the players delivered. A truly magical time. Thanks Adriano.

Lovely interview, and my favourite quote is about a quip from Gerry Gow, following our 1-0, opening day victory at Highbury in '76/77. Gow: Hey boss, I believe I didn't play at Arsenal. Dicks: I said, what do you mean? Gow: I'm never in the game on the television! -
They can usually be relied on to do it themselves.

Lovely man. I interviewed him once and ended the call with the following exchange: "I'm going to have to stop now Mark." "Why's that Norman?" "My wife has just put my dinner on the table."

Referee's watch fails to signal Coventry's goal against Hull City. Bloody technology! From 1:27 on highlight reel. https://www.skysports.com/football/coventry-city-vs-hull-city/447790

Take it from me, Radio Bristol phone- ins aren't exclusive. Anyone can call Geoff and get on air. Give it a try. Regards Mark Tovey

Match Report: City players reward themselves with another day off

I've watched the first goal and the assist is via Wolfe's shoulder to Morris. -
But not on XPectations!

City had enough of the ball and 16 shots on goal, but lacked real cohesion after Williams' exit with what appeared to be tight hamstrings. The positional changes bemused me at 0-2. Atkinson to left-back and Dasilva to right back when Pring could have replaced Scott. Wells for Williams was another. Would another midfield body in Vyner have been a better option, freeing James. It all looked a bit of a mess despite the gung-ho finish that deserved a consolation. Oh well, where's that corner coach?
-
Yes, we've conceded two awful goals, but this has ben a close game and we should have scored at least one. We need the next goal and with a Williams driving us in midfield there's still hope.

Next week we ask Ryley Towler: Is everything in the universe (even matter) energy?
-
Those peskie encroaches get everywhere.
-
Very true. They had wave upon wave of attacks for three quarters of the second half, and could have scored three, but for the bar, Bentley's penalty save and Dack's miss. We found some energy in the last 10 minutes and nicked it.

He was superb. Excellent in the tackle and can pass too. Made Khadra resort to theatrics and he was rightly booked.

I think they call it 'deep backspin slice', Nadal would have been proud of that.
