  1. Apparently, Wolves fans used to refer to Iwelumo as, 'The flying wardrobe'. Decent player for us though, in a too brief loan spell.
  2. Yes, I saw them Dave, but I couldn't find the respond function.
  3. Yes, and Dave P is being interviewed by the Guinness Book of Records (not that he's the culprit) right now.
  4. Brilliant technique and delighted to hear its got national recognition. Have a great Friday!
  5. Apologies if this has been posted before, but this screamer from Clevedon Town's Oli Babington deserves a look. Get in!
  6. Crikey, just replayed that and its at 45:47. It wasn't me 'guv, honest.
  7. Thanks for listening. I'll be keeping it positive for the rest of the season.
  8. Oh dear. Out with the white emulsion and pen in the correct year: 1990.
  9. Tiny Timm was brilliant in the first half, and tired a little in the second, but didn't deserve to concede that penalty. More Tom Daley than Tom Ince, a triple twist with pike. He pulled a similar trick for Derby in a 3-3 draw some seasons ago. Bloody cheat.
  10. Brilliant news. I'd love to see Antoine play on the international stage.
  11. Apologies, I should have explained that those two images were previously tweeted by Geoff Twentyman to promote last night's Sound of the City. I'm Mark Tovey, formerly a board member of the Supporters Trust and Supporters Club and Trust, and just one of a number of fantastic volunteers who produced the 38-page booklet, 82 - The Year Bristol City Nearly Died, over 7 breathless weeks, contributing 100's of hours, during December 2006 and January 2007. The edition (containing interviews with all the players, plus Deryn Coller, Mick Harford, Roy Hodgson, Gerry Sharpe, Bob Boyd and Gordon Taylor) was published on the night of the 25th Anniversary commemoration dinner for the Ashton Gate 8 - attended by all the players - that was held in the old Dolman Exhibition Hall on Friday February 4th 2007. I'll ask the Trust if there are any spare copies and get back to you.
  12. Exactly. The then Supporters Trust covered the whole saga, interviewing amongst others, John Southern, from Friends of Bristol City who raised £4000, and Terry Grady £1000 for his 24 hour marathon walk around the Ashton Gate pitch, plus a candid chat with Deryn Coller for the 25th Anniversary commemoration booklet, "82 - The Year Bristol City Nearly Died."
  13. He played there in the second half against Preston, and at Blackpool to accommodate Williams as the holding midfelder and Scott as the the number 10, behind Martin and Semenyo.
  14. O'Leary Kalas Klose Pring Weimann Williams Massengo Dasilva Scott Semenyo Martin
  15. Crikey, does that make me Ben Sheppard? I do have a tipping point.
  16. Tune in at 6pm for a programme to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Ashton Gate 8. Radio Bristol - Listen Live - BBC Sounds
  17. Please. Kasey is a model professional. Model being the operative word. KP45 injured his neck, whilst removing the tailored fit version of next season's fruit salad coloured third shirt, designed by Damien Hirst, for the Hummel Posers Catalogue, which is the real name for the HPC.
  18. Unfortunately, our country's ability to produce brilliant investigative journalism and a failure to sufficiently bribe delegates means just that. And yes, the latter part is a joke - I think.
  19. Exactly. Better to just say, cuh, it was the usual suspects, we know who you are. OTIB REMEMBERS.
  20. You could have saved a lot of time by just posting this gif...
  21. Covid, possibly? I understand that Bentley has it.
