  1. Challenge backing in which one is it then? a players height is not part of the laws of the game!! Another law i was unaware of when i did me refs courses. obstructing impeding and blocking the keeper is an offence.
  2. think silva is five six but anyway i am unaware of this law of the game that if your below a certain height you cant commit an offence. which law is it it is.
  3. Refs away from the prem elite dont give penalties because players are not imitating ducks and penguins with arms tucked in!!! Players dont have to stick arms behind backs because the laws allow balls to be hitting arms in positions that are the natural positions to what is happening except this another sketch again at the top level this with var isn't being used properly, because their all over micro offences offences instead of them big clear and obvious bollock drop ref errors, and its damaging football.
  4. As a ref of humble level and ability i would point out that people are comparing restarts to open play and the two are not the same and players behaviours but also the laws alter at restarts and for situations in the box. Restarts open play the two are not the same and neither are any two incidents you put the laws on each one evenly. For this Wolves Man City incident i see two offences foul on keeper and offside.Obstructing the the keeper i generally warn players first dont obstruct then if it happens again go foul. Accidental handball by a defender in the box with the arm in a unnatural position is a penalty. Accidental handball by a defender in the box with the arm in a natural position most times wont prevent there being a goal scoring opportunity no real advantage then you have accidental hand ball by an attacker leading to a goal scored = massive advantage goal gained. See them differences?? Thats why the two are not treated the same.
  5. Missed this one it doesnt matter how tall a player is it matters that he is there in the keepers face but getting away from that Silva backs into the GK trying to impede him which is an offence , being in an offside position and diving into a still offside position a millisecond later i'm giving that as offside as well. Its not the worst but var shouldnt get all over it as its not clear and obvious and this is where how var is making a game with differing laws, only at the top are these offsides with a players half a metre away from the keeper in clearly offside positions not given. This is no good for the game, give that goal in many leagues and?? Youve got problems reffing the game maybe even dangerous problems at some places. The game should be have no two tier laws!!
  6. Melksham get 400 most weeks not much else to do there. BMF first goal Daniel Dodimead son of a very well known City fan.
  7. In one of my games I giving that as a foul on the keeper then when Stones touches the ball Silva looks to be offending and a millisecond later he isnt and this is not what var was meant to be for.
  8. Anyone see Northern Ireland Bulgaria?? Northern Ireland had Pirlo pinging passes about in goal.
  9. Went to the game twenty fours years ago in Helsinki now that was boring. The Finn Koff beer however was proper.
  10. 80's were brilliant if you had money. Different world couple of quid got you half way across the country on the train to see City less with persil tickets. no tickets for the Boogie Squad!! no crap pre booking for anything just go. couple of quid for cans on the train pints in the pub and the sip back. Game in London enough change from a tenner for a night out back in the centre. Dont miss the actual football. That would be one weird sketch to watch now keepers belting the ball from end to end!!
  11. building from the back would also be breaking lines. the keeper is in a big position to do this. oleary went to switch sunday and the dolman was landed on.
  12. second half the ball was safer in the dolman than with Vyner. Dont think Vyners poor but he aint great and today was mare!!
  13. problem in a team building from the back. seen better distribution in non league.
  14. in a team building from the back isnt distribution on your list???
  15. Check the crap ball he received its a promising attack slayed by sloppy sloppy forward play when the ball should have stuck and City concede a goal. Rubbish from front to back as a team. Cracking strike mind.
