  1. Could the family's wealth come from other sources though?
  2. He's a billionaire with a capital M
  3. Seen a couple of posters saying Joe Bryan MOTM....which is really good to hear after a stuttering season, and also in a game where another player got a brace. So wished I'd been there, but at a Chess Tourney with Joe (won 5 lost 2) who qualified for next event. I'm not a regular away traveller, but I hate missing any game these days.
  4. Gutted I'm not there today. Jealous of those that are there and who will be able to say 'I was there when Zak Vyner made his debut'. Same for any debutant.
  5. My thoughts exactly. What a day for the young man, and another addition to the list of youngsters getting into the first team. Any youngster that breaks into first team is a positive result for the Academy.
  6. I know it's a bit late, but here's the players coming onto the pitch:
  7. I for once think Wilbs lasted the 90 pretty well. I thought he did better against Morrison as the game went on. Perhaps it was Morrison tiring?
  8. The team that finishes the game: Fielding, Little, Bryan, Ayling, Flint, Williams, Pack, Smith, Freeman, Wilbraham, Agard Spot anything familiar? Having said that, Kodjia sounded bright again. For those who travelled, do you see much wrong, or do we need a change of luck?
  9. They will be putting up similar billboards to the ones in the Atyeo WC areas.
  10. Plus performances for me: Ayling and Smith - top games from these two tonight Better than average: Kodjia, Robinson, Flint, Bryan Average: Wilbraham, Pack Not at their best: Hamer, Fredericks, Williams The three subs all contributed. Reid - nice and neat and tidy and made good use of ball in advanced position. Did well under pressure to get the ball if for KA to score. KA looked much sharper, and also seemed to have the ball under better control than sometimes he does. Still, two points dropped IMHO. Leeds were a poor team, but I hope we've turned a corner.
  11. City to sneak it 2-1, maybe with a bit of luck like an OG or maybe a red card for LUFC! Hoping Wood can be tamed by Flint....I don't see him in the same quality bracket as Hoffman on Saturday, who although looked decent, was given too much time and respect. Last time I saw City play Leeds was one of the early games of 1979 season....2-2, they had a player sent off late on. Cue Leeds fans chasing City fans across Ashton Park....yes it was Leeds chasing us!! I was stood on my dads toolbox in the away end....lovely experience for a 9 year old!!!!
