  1. I think he said a player that has been involved but hasn’t kitted up recently. My thoughts were Janneh.
  2. Highlights out now: Really good build up for goal. Some more Abi Harrison highlights in there too to go alongside my tweet.
  3. Think Mr P or HXJ said that it is not the Administrator’s responsibility to produce the missing accounts, but I guess whoever buys them might have to.
  4. Not in every game though. They have lined up in 352 (and 3412) in the matches against QPR and Millwall. You would not have seen 4 defenders, 4 midfielders in those two games. You trot this out every time formations are mentioned. Nor does it change depending on whether City are in and out of possession….it changes due to the fluidity of the game, the position of the ball on the pitch, the position of ours and their players and the dynamics between each of those. That’s fine if you only want to view the game at such a basic level, but what we are discussing here is that the writer has got it wrong….and even if Nige dies prefer 442, he doesn’t always set up that way at the start or end of games. In fact Nige has said he’d really like to play 433 but he doesn’t have the players for it.
  5. Any points deduction will be this season, unless the penalty is awarded after some date in March…..and then the rules are as you suggest.
  6. Think this was meant for you @shahanshahan
  7. Great result, after Sunday’s disappointing last minute goal conceded. Hopefully we will get to see the goal as it was allegedly another cracker from Harrison.
  8. Not sure what the programme was called on ITV in the summer but it was Harry Redknapp managing ex-England players in games against other nations. Neil Ruddock was drinking stupidly having been warned about the damage it was doing to his life expectancy. Merson tried to get through to him to stop, but he wasn’t having it, and Merson took it very badly…as he could see what damage it was doing and got Ruddock’s wife to come out and visit. It was a side of Merson I’d not seen before.
  9. Not sure Taylor Moore minds his data being used? ?
  10. The joy of stats….use the ones that suit your argument ? He doesn’t stat particularly well in the basic stuff I can get hold of. https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/fevsfootballanalytics/viz/EFLChampionshipForwards2021-22/SCATDuels The key to Weimann “quality” is the more physical / locational stats, e.g. not just how much he runs, but where he runs, where he receives balls, wins balls, etc. You have to a lot lower level data extraction to see that. I can do game by game for 1 player at a time, but it takes a while….and I want to do it for 538 players who’ve played in the Champ this season.
  11. Got my email on 23/9 Dave for Barnsley game on 30/10. If you need a code you can have mine, DM me.
  12. Did Joe provide the data though? ??? How tall is his dad then!!!
  13. I’m kinda with you on that.
  14. Shows what he can do. However in the full Robins Uncut 19 video, watch the little sequence at 7:49. Up against Joe Williams, Joe just gets his arm across, leans into Callum and dispossessed him. If Callum gets his left arm across Joe, Williams can’t shove him off the ball. It would make a huge difference to Callum’s ability to dribble past opponents.
  15. I only watched about 10 minutes of each half. It felt pretty similar to many England performances. We are decent but not top-class team. We will always be there or thereabouts. We qualify relatively easily for each tournament, which has not been the case in the past (tournament expansion has helped!). Southgate has done a decent job. I’ve never thought we looked like winning a tournament in recent times, so his record is good.
  16. I think in general we miss having a true world class player….a player that “does it” when needed, a Ronaldo, Modric, etc. We have good international players, but not truly world-class.
  17. Under Mel’s old model, Lawrence would probably still be worth £5m in the books, maybe slightly less now in final year. But under new amortisation method, will be less than £1m. Whether that will influence any fee the Administrators might accept I don’t know?
  18. The keep them guessing bit.
  19. I think there’s a bit of truth in that.
  20. Others not seen, which doesn’t necessarily mean they are injured: Dasilva Baker Atkinson Cundy Semenyo Pring not in early clips, but in last section. Wells seen in dressing room, but can’t recall him on the grass.
  21. Think I was gonna write earlier - cake and eat it. Your post articulates it nicely.
  22. ….and importantly these companies don’t pay us individuals for our data do they? Precedent set imho.
