  1. Mine depends on Joe....and obviously what happens before Tuesday night.
  2. Can’t argue with any of this, and trying not to make it political either. I think the test will be how we continue to react to changing scenarios or pro-actively too in light of trends.
  3. I guess my point was that if the NHS wasn’t on its knees due to mahoosive underfunding, what other options might have been open to us? Call me a snowflake, but I don’t really like the message (paraphrased) that we are gonna have to accept losing some loved ones. Might that be reduced under different options available to us. To me the economics seems to be more important than the health. Happy to be wrong, just the way I feel. My contract finishes 2nd April, so I might be posting even more on here....sorry folks ?
  4. For me, the approach in the UK is primarily about lessening the impact on the NHS. If only it wasn’t so underfunded in the first place.
  5. You may be right, but what I was trying to say is the average fan (those not using VPN Airways) have only one way of watching an away game, and that’s by buying a ticket and going. If they have bought a ticket, give them a code to stream the game or offer refund. For the rest of us, we wouldn’t normally be allowed to watch an away game so to make up for lost matchday revenue, allow us to purchase a stream.
  6. Oooooh, you little tinker..... .....and Marley Watkins.
  7. I suspect there are many options to sorting this, from: a. Giving you bugger all compensation z. Giving you something / all back I’ve no idea what the T&Cs say for my season tickets.
  8. That’s the point I was making £x/23 is less than £x/19.
  9. Yes, that would make sense....clubs would make some money back on iFollow / Robinstv payments.
  10. Yep, read that too. Dunno whether that covers you to watch away games though.
  11. Interesting in our recent season card renewal, there was nothing about the notional “price per game” equivalent being caveated by something along the lines of “it will be more if we are in the Premier”.
  12. We could sell our ground to any Tom, Dick or Harry, surely? I don’t believe we have sold it, just transferred it into a different part of the company structure as @Mr Popodopolous states above.
  13. We report our Football stuff under Bristol City Holdings which encompass BCFC and Ashton Gate Ltd, so I assume (I’m no expert) should we sell our ground to Lansdown or Pula, the profit from that sale would come under AGLtd and therefore under the reporting of BCH for FFP purposes?
  14. Joe said he has seen that there are two teams on FIFA. One in red, one in blue. I’ll ask him later.
  15. Yes, I worked from home yesterday, and we are all (where possible) working at home today / tomorrow. Microsoft Teams being used for all meetings.
  16. From bbc sport: - I had no idea there were two teams in a Greece with very similar names until Joe told me last night. Posted at 8:28 'All the tests came out negative' Olympiakos v Wolves (Thursday, 20:00 GMT) The Greek side themselves have just issued a coronavirus statement and that says... "Olympiacos FC informs that after the required medical exams to which all the members of the football staff, as well as board members and staff, were submitted, all the tests came out negative for the COVID-19 virus."
  17. Each to their own I guess, but I hope that if you do get it, or cone into contact with someone who does have it, you do the right thing! As a parent of a vulnerable child, I’m taking advice and precautions. My Programme Manager returned from Italy (skiing) on Friday, was check going in and out of Italy, and HR advice was to stay at home for 2 days isolating. He messaged the team on Sunday saying he was taking our concerns seriously and not gonna come in for 2 weeks (we are able to work remotely). So, with him not being in, i went to the office yesterday. Then yesterday, he said he was coming in today, so I told him I would work at home today and rest of week. We need to test our ability to have large scale remote working, so I was helping that anyway. Today new HR advice is he needs to stay at home for 2 weeks.
  18. That was the guy I was trying to think of the other day.
  19. I don’t understand the property stuff in fairness. But I really would like to see them relegated.
  20. Not ‘arf. We had our fun whilst we could, but now we are a bit strapped, let’s level the playing field. I guess Mel will change his player valuation / amortisation method to fall into line at the same time too.
  21. Nah....too soft. If deemed to be “cooking the books” and the punishment is for a retrospective season, and that season resulted in unfairly in gaining promotion, they should take the points penalty and not be able to use any of their Parachute Payments over any years they they are entitled to receive them.
