  1. Crap news - can’t wait to have you back big Rob. So in terms of fit centre-halves - we’re looking at Vyner and Kalas. King as cover. Joe Low recall might be in order? Or another Mariappa/Klose free agent might be the best option.
  2. BRIEFLY stepping away from the jubilation of our first penalty since the Titanic sank, Atkinson’s injury today looked a little worrying didn’t it. Vyner was in the wars too. We’re light at centre half without injuries so a bit concerning. But that can wait for another time - we got a penalty ? unbelievable. Feels like a win. Injured: Atkinson Wilson Naismith Benarous Conway
  3. WHAT AM I SEEING. WHAT WAS THAT WEIRD FREE KICK WE GOT INSIDE THE BOX
  4. No new ins or outs today. Does a win today ignite the play-off dream? You decide. COYR ?️?️ Injured: Wilson Naismith Benarous Conway
  5. Rashford Kane Saka front three.
  6. My first thought seeing the line-up yesterday was it was brave to change a team that won so well on Saturday, although I was excited to see more of the new two forwards. Like many - last nights draw isn't sitting great with me today in that it feels like a missed opportunity just as we were all starting to cautiously wonder about the play-offs. Saying all that, Nige summed it up very well in his post-match. We're leaving a game where we've gone 10 unbeaten (anyone know when that last happened? Not recently) feeling disappointed - that shows how quickly we've upped our levels since December. We're on a fantastic run and long may it continue.
  7. I can only assume we’re saving our luck for Man City but I’m sure we’ll be cursed that night too! Saveable Fletcher effort prior to us hitting the woodwork twice, irritating draw. It was fun being play-off chasers for 4 days ? Think all subs tonight were tactical. Injured: Wilson Naismith Benarous Conway
  8. No new ins or outs going by the Matchday 18 - but as mentioned above I think we can expect to see Wilson for the first team before too long. Big game tonight, hoping for 10 unbeaten and 3 more points ??️ COYR ?️ Injured: Wilson Naismith Benarous Conway
  9. Yea but it can sometimes go the other way, remember Webster had a shaky record when we bought him (albeit nowhere near Mawson's). I really hoped after his first few games here that we get lucky and get a full season out of him, hell of a player to build a defence around. Wasn't to be, all the best in retirement Alfie!
  10. D'you know I never realised it was a 2 game ban for 10 yellows. Assumed it was just another one. On paper, maybe Alex would be best served getting yellow #10 against Hull, as we have a couple of 'easier' games after that. Of course, this is the Championship, so logic rarely flies.
  11. Feel like he’s been good last few times he’s reffed us. Not on my shit list and it’s pretty long!
  12. He’s a shrewd signing and I personally have no doubt he’ll do well here. I’m looking forward to his first start for a proper look at him - lots of games before the season is over so he’ll have a role to play.
  13. I’d give Bell another start Wednesday, he was a bit quiet today and has Anis breathing down his neck but he’s still in massive credit from his WBA display. And I just love the kid. On topic - this team is unbelievably likeable. Things like Robins Uncut have unearthed their personalities and the squad dynamic too - Williams the jester, Kalas the oddball etc. And the celebrations and high-fiving when they win a late Goal Kick when defending a lead show they’re so together. And Nahki’s new role as every young strikers Dad. So much to love. I really want it to be this lot who take us to the promised land. Or win the FA Cup, I’m not fussy.
  14. Makes our 9-unbeaten all the more impressive considering how often we’re playing with a hand tied behind our back. He’d give a foul for Norwich for an incident, then ignore an almost identical incident the other way. What’s going through his head when he’s making these calls?
  15. Full backs shone today. Tanner and Pring can share MotM, Tanner popped up in more big moments defensively; Pring was solid and got himself another assist.
  16. Scott was in the wars today (as ever, it’s the only way opponents can think of to stop him), but hopefully his substitution was tactical/precautionary. So nice to see Kalas back getting the odd minutes. We are flying. ?️ Injured: Wilson Naismith Benarous Conway
  17. This guy needs a thread. Signed for a grand total of £0, and to not-much-fuss from supporters of previous club Oxford United - in his first half a season here he’s filled in capably as a RWB and then when moved forward as we switched to 433, has been a revelation. Many credit our fantastic uptick in form to that switch, and with recent recruitment targeted to a wing-less system, we’d have really struggled without Sykes ready to slot straight into that role. Even so, not many would’ve predicted 5 goals in 6 appearances from wide (and a couple assists to boot). Great work Sykesy - keep it up ?️
  18. Ok this is getting a bit mad now - 9 unbeaten and 5 wins in our last 6?! Unbelievable work by all involved - Nigel I apologise. Up to the safety and comfort of mid-table, the bottom three is less of a fear and more of a ‘let’s all laugh at Cardiff’. COYR ?️
  19. One change to the Matchday 18 - Naismith out and King in. Williams starts in Naismith’s place with King taking Williams’ spot on the bench. COYR ?️ Injured: Wilson Naismith Benarous Conway
  20. My blood would be at boiling point with this news had PNE gone on to equalise or win. As it is and with 3 points in the bag - we’ll enjoy the news and move on. More interesting refereeing of Bristol City though.
  21. The team will never be the same after this. SDE.
  22. I couldn’t watch yesterday as I’m in Poland with some buddies but of the 4 subs, it was only Naismith that was injured right? Bell, Wells, Tanner all tactical? Phenomenal win by the way - 8 unbeaten and starting to put some real ground between us and the bottom three. Fantastic, COYR ?️?️?? Injured: Wilson Naismith Benarous Conway
  23. Reid, Semenyo, Conway, Bell. Academy doing wonders with forwards. This will stink of recency bias but I’m starting to think Bell might be my pick of the quartet. I can’t get over his finishing Vs WBA and to come out today with two shiny new forwards breathing down his neck and calmly score a winner… I really like the kid. Might be a bit special.
  24. ‘Pushing for it this season’ according the their fans.
  25. League double over them this season, so **** em ? play off side my arse!
