  1. I'm not sure how many minutes Semenyo will get in the World Cup, might be difficult for him to really shine. That said, we've seen what he can do from the bench.
  2. Many, many big teams falling tonight including both North London clubs, Chelsea and possibly Liverpool. Lots of League 1 teams still in. A real opportunity to go deep this year, pissed up against the wall. Well done City.
  3. Would be nice to just get lucky for once. A stupid penalty (I know..) or a Watford red card. Or a stupid deflected goal. Just some dumb luck, we feel starved of it.
  4. Happy for him, the academy work speaks for itself. Not sure if Tinns has experience in the transfer market but he’s clearly got the eye. Not massively improved my mood following last night mind, I’m nervy for Saturday.
  5. Chose Wilder, but Rob Edwards also in my thinking. Aggressively left-field shout is Jonas Eidevall. If he wanted a ticket into the mens game, I think it'd be an exciting move.
  6. I was hoping to see a 'big' outgoing in the summer to give us financial wiggle room, and wonder if January is the time to finally do it. Obviously, losing our best players is frustrating but this squad needs bolstering. I'm weighing up what's more valuable, keeping the Scott/Semenyo or utilising money from a sale to give us squad depth and maybe an important defensive player. I understand we seem likely to remain within FFP which is really great news. This is definitely an argument for trying to keep the top talent at the club, as we don't need to sell to swerve a potentially devastating points deduction. But even with this factored in, is making a sale still in the clubs best interest? Could we cash in on Antoine if he excels in Qatar? Do we really bite the bullet and listen to Scott offers? As things are at the moment, could we afford to sack Nige even if we wanted to? Just trying to gauge peoples opinions, really interested to hear poeples' takes.
  7. Nasimith's injury was reported as 7-10 days, 63 years ago. Don't hold your breath.
  8. I've been firm in the stance that we'll stay up as I believe our squad is simply too good not to. 2 wins in 12, and no teams really cast adrift via a points deduction or something, has me nervous.
  9. This season is starting to smell awful. Injured: Naismith Kalas Wilson Benarous Atkinson the only sub off that looked like injury may have played a part, looked like a head bump. We’ll keep an eye. **** me, that was upsetting.
  10. This bombing out players after a poor game is a bit tiresome. No reason he shouldn’t have started over Kadji tonight.
  11. Appreciate the financial and squad messes he dealt with post Ashton, and he did well to steer us through that without a relegation. But we’re 20th and have just been outplayed by a middling League 1 team and he has a win rate below 30%. Right on the precipice for me now. Saturday is must win.
  12. James and Bentley get the night off, Bajic, Atkinson, Kadji, Morrison all in the squad (the first three starting). I guess Bajic has built fitness… ? Injured: Naismith Kalas Wilson Benarous With Atkinson back that’s only 4 injured which is really good. Let’s ave these tonight. I’m very early and typing this from a quiet concourse. COYR.
  13. I mean, fewer means less traffic so I won't be moaning if it's a crap turn out ? I'm noisy enough for 5 people anyway.
  14. Got fed up of missing the unstreamable earlier rounds so bought a ticket a couple weeks back. Gotta do them and get into the hat. COYR.
  15. I've said this before; it's just a sub-category until we see him in an 18, as then we know he's first-team ready. Why are you taking such issue with this? ? I write the injury list after every game as I was doing it for myself anyway, so figured I'd post on here in case others found it useful. If you don't, stop reading it
  16. Agree it’s one we should win. Hoping our attack will simply be too much for a L1 team.
  17. I like your optimism! Mid-table league 1 team, I think we should be careful not to underestimate them. Appreciate they had a stinker yesterday but we have to guard against complacency.
  18. Ah, thought that was league only.
  19. I’d go a little stronger personally. Bentley in net perhaps. Atkinson in if he’s healthy for Low, James in for Kadji.
  20. On a serious note, I’m desperate for us to win this. Can’t see the league giving us too much joy this year (though I think we’ll be fine). Think there needs to be some rotation due to the crazy past few weeks, maybe we’ll see Massengo return and Martin get a start. COYR.
  21. Need to get to bed earlier mate.
  22. No ins and no outs today injury wise. Good point all things considered, performance a bit off though. Injured: Naismith Kalas Atkinson - sick Wilson Benarous Building fitness: Bajic
  23. Strange old game football. Performance dipped again today but we get something from the game, polar opposite of Tuesday. O’Leary and Pring more than taking their chance, not sure why Pring was ever bombed out.
  24. Didn’t get booked. Ref missed it. Yellow was for the chap who dragged Antoine down. I want VAR.
