  1. Wilson confirmed as injured in todays presser, Naismith injury doesn’t sound too bad, circa 10 days. Klose ever closer to the squad. Injured: Kalas Naismith Wilson James Benarous Building fitness: Bajic Klose So 5 injuries plus Williams suspended for Saturday. Not ideal but let’s hope we can find solutions and get a nice away win.
  2. It’s like he’s in a hacked football manager save. What can you even say about stats like that?
  3. I wonder if we should pin a 'ticket buy and sell' thread? Would benefit sellers and buyers and would stop it from being missed. Also a bit tidier.
  4. Pretty dull game really. I think we needed a win tonight after a triple loss. Attack isn’t functioning like it was though, ever since Burnley nullified us so well. Hope it comes back soon. Naismith injured (never looks good when they pull up like that), Wilson AWOL. Question wasn’t asked pre-match so we’ll wait and see on him. Injured: Kalas Naismith James Benarous Building fitness: Bajic Klose
  5. Our crossing will be the death of me. So many good positions wasted again. Give Pring a go, what does the lad have to do.
  6. Good manager, really surprised at how this season has gone for Boro thus far. Don't like either of those potential replacements from a Boro point of view, they're both managers with recent success but no real hard proof they've got what it takes at this level. I hope they go for Edwards, would be an interesting risk.
  7. That’s a disgusting stat. Sounds made up - incredible. I’ll be using that one at the pub!
  8. I’ve been waiting for a thread where this is relevant; but the full backs are delivering such little quality into the box. They get into positions well more often than not, and both work really hard no doubt. And there are games/moment where this improves, Dasilva against Huddersfield springs to mind. But the quality is so often lacking. I’ve no idea how Pring isn’t challenging Dasilva for that spot, he’s a real talent!
  9. Not a bad one to miss mate. Eyesore at times!
  10. Absolutely. Our bad decisions don’t even out so can only help us surely.
  11. We’ve had some shoddy defensive performances this year but we dropped the already low bar today. A really weird game where we were always one pass away from imminent danger. Add in our missed chances and a typical refereeing performance and it wasn’t our day - at all. Injured: Kalas James Benarous Building fitness: Bajic Klose Also worth mentioning, Conway took a nasty hit but didn’t come straight off so we’ll see. Also, is Scott suspended for 5 yellows? Still more good than bad this season. Let’s back them for the 3 points on Tuesday.
  12. You can just grab one for free in most newsagents. Mine is underway. No City players in this iteration, we’ve had representation of late with the likes of Nagy and Magnússon but Semenyo didn’t make the Ghana page so we’re not in
  13. True. If he never wins an FA Trophy, his career will always have an asterisk next to it. It’s why I don’t rate Messi.
  14. Yea he was always unlikely to go and play National League though, they never would've been able to pay his wages for starters plus no Champions League football.
  15. Pretty sure they have an injury list longer than the Nile, so maybe a bit harsh. But Hull struggling only ever makes me happy so long may it continue.
  16. I've always really liked watching Haaland play and would watch Dortmund periodically for that reason, so I'm over the moon he's in the Prem now (albeit I'd have preferred him at a slightly more historic club). I've known for a while his goalscoring exploits are pretty special, but reading this really puts into perspective what he's doing. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62825097 I wonder if we're seeing the formative years of a player who in 15 years time we'll be calling the greatest goalscorer ever. With his pace, power, finishing and game intelligence already this good at 22, maybe even the greatest player ever...
  17. Apologies if mentioned elsewhere. A journalist named Alan Biggs has made the link after Warne left for Derby. Rotherham are currently above us in the Championship so it'll be a big challenge to maintain that form with their squad. It'd certainly be interesting though to see his second attempt at this level. I liked Dean, hope he does well if offered the role (without negatively impacting our cruise to the play-offs of course).
  18. That was very encouraging. Really enjoyable game, and a bit of optimism going into the WC. (that’s World Cup not loo).
  19. If he wants a L1 relegation on his CV, he may as well do it at FGR where he's revered! Barton in
  20. Tuchel, Benitez or Poch please ? we’ve been poor. I wonder if our last two tournaments have been good despite Gareth. Not often City have a better manager than England. Pretty cool really.
