Surprised with Nige out for an unspecified time we’re not bringing in someone to help with the load. But I think it’s the right call to keep Nige on and to wait until he’s ready (now I’ve calmed down post Saturday). Unless we continue to plummet and he’s still unwell, not sure what we do then. Need to get behind Fleming and hope Nige is back and ready for our favourable run of fixtures starting in a few weeks time. This is going to be a tough season so the club are going to need us. We’re far from relegated yet ladies and gents. COYR

Wonder if we’ll find out more about Pearson’s illness. Fingers crossed he’ll be fighting fit soon.

Anyone know if we have a sports psychologist? If no, get one. If yes, get a new one. Frail mentalities can be fixed. This isn’t the awful squad many think, it’s a decent group. But if we don’t sort the mentality out soon we could be in trouble.

If anyone from the club sees a post on here today may it be this one: I’m not going to start a new thread because the forum is already melting. But your inability to do your jobs today has left me and so many others feeling shit. We love this club and sink most of our spare time into it. We also pay all we have to support it, and many of us don’t have all that much. Your inability to do your jobs today despite literally outnumbering your opposition has ruined many a weekend, maybe that’s on us for caring too much about one thing. I do know though that if many of us underperformed as consistently as yourselves in our jobs, we wouldn’t have one anymore. And we don’t have your savings to fall back on. Fight for our badge. Fight for your own sodding pride. And for goodness sake, don’t let our club fall once again into third tier obscurity.

I hate an untidy forum almost as much as I hate conceding 3 against 10 men. People need to be so much smarter about what needs a thread.

I honestly believe we have an ok squad but they are mentally pathetic. Being in a lead scares the shit out of them. We need to bring in a sports psychologist or something. I’ll like that competition again once they tell the Prem academy teams to piss off. Still don’t wanna be playing in it though. On this topic - there’s some really poor teams this season. We should be ok. But we HAVE to spend in Jan, there must be room in the budget.

I can barely remember an atmosphere like that, we were awesome in that last 10. I’m vocal when the people around me are quiet, it was so fun seeing all fans old and young get totally swept away in the moment. I think yesterday will last long in the memory.

I’ve been a critic of Bakinson, but I thought he was growing into it. Benarous on in his place was truly bizarre to me. But we won and I trust Nige so so sod it. Congrats on the debut Ayman, big things coming!

The man is a phenomenon. He earns his place on the pitch every game with his obsessive work rate. And his 6 goals have earned us 9 (!) points this season. Two assists as well. Should be in the Austria national team. Forza Andi Weimann.
