For some reason, I always thought he had Barbadian origins.
Well, of course, I checked, and I see he is a Denbighshire boy, born in Bodelwyddan.
Spent his childhood in Barbados I think.

It'll either be an all day gig with assorted acts or a festival-type setup over a weekend. Swindon are doing something similar.

Birmingham's defending is horrific.

He definitely made more than one appearance for them.

I can’t be the only one who thought Hinds was gonna go on to be a championship regular after his performances in the cup ?
After that Watford game there were quite a few people on here wanting him starting ahead of Diedhiou who we'd just spent £5m on.

That Zonneveld-Webster match was brutally bad, especially the last leg.

I have a feeling Pearson got wind of what was going on, Manning definitely knew weeks before. What ever way it was done its still an appalling way to go about it especially to Euell Rennie Fleming. Still makes my skin cruel now.
100% Pearson knew, I don't think he gives that interview after the Coventry game otherwise.

Tufnell and Dawson had been dreadful for years anyway tbh. Tufnell especially, like an over excited child who was actually more annoying than funny
I always thought Dawson was worse, like every Rugger Bugger stereotype in one annoying man.

It's people like you who have some warped loyalty to our average players who will never see us progress.
Who do you want, Trent Alexander-Arnold?
You seem more upset that we won yesterday than you were when we lost the other night.

Yep, agree.
Plus it gives us a bit more prep time before the game on Boxing Day.
That was the reason the club gave when they announced it.

We've played better than that under Manning and not won, so I'll take that. Good resilience and fighting spirit if nothing else.

Ah good, we're at the stage of inventing things to get annoyed about now.
Always a sign that it's going well.

Heaven forbid he try and show some positivity and ambition, I know that's frowned upon around here.

Interesting choice to put it in a stand that is used for away fans at the football, and isn't open at all for the rugby.

He is being used as the potential fall guy if it all goes wrong. Much like Mark Ashton was
Yep. I wonder if he's realised yet?

December 2018 to January 2019, we won 5 on the spin at home.
Snap your hand off for a point now, as I would have last night.
Need to stop a losing run & our home form hasn’t been great since the very start of Holden’s short spell.
Way before that. I'd argue since the rebuild.

Not seen any scores but I'm assuming QPR won, because we were assured last night that they were definitely going to?

And do we trust him to spend money seeing he wanted to buy Mehmeti who to me adds nothin (very poor man’s Jack Grealish wannabe)
Yeah, at the level below where he was a standout.

Will never happen. People blindly follow this club. Talk of the stadium erupting Saturday if a poor result happens is wishful thinking. You’ll hear a few moans and groans and that will be that.
Yep, and the hierarchy know it too.
The fans forum was evidence of that.

Leave him be for now. I do think he'll be in and around the squad next season though, especially if Tommy moves on.

Red button games over Christmas and New Year?
in Football Chat
Posted
The games that have been moved (e.g Friday, Norwich the other week) haven't been showing on the red button this season even if available on Robins TV.
That doesn't just apply to us so I think it might be a change of policy from Sky/EFL.
