Keep mentioning top 6 everyone, it's definitely not getting tedious.
Nobody, not even Jon Lansdown, thinks we're currently capable of it.

Missed the first half, now listening to the second half on the radio.
Owers said were the better side but on here it seems dreadful, which is it?
Somewhere in the middle of that.
The one thing to note is that it is never, ever, as bad as gets made out on here.

I doubt you'd ever find Cornick hiding in the changing rooms to avoid having to train, which instantly marks him as better than Watkins.

Will Robins TV be able to broadcast it?
Don't think so, however it's been selected for overseas broadcast so there'll be plenty of streams available.

Did enjoy Pickford rattling the Cartoon Army. The most self congratulatory fanbase in the country.

.Only reason to move from Saturday 3pm now is OB...
They spread them out for overseas telly as well, there'll be more games that don't kick off at 3pm on the Saturday than do.

Side issue but WTF is the score with Hayden Roberts?
Went off over a month ago now with something innocuous & when Barton asks about his return Manning doesn’t even bother to mention him.
Not saying he’s going to make a huge difference but as we don’t even fill our subs bench it would be nice to know what’s the latest.
This was in the squad update on the OS last week, I presume there'll be a new one today or tomorrow:
"Haydon Roberts has begun light rehabilitation after suffering a significant ankle injury in our match against Ipswich Town in October."

Basically they’ve looked at what Hampshire did with the Rose Bowl, they built that with expectation of hosting test matches. It was years before they got a test match and it caused them serious financial problems.
Yep, same thing happened with Durham and then Glamorgan afer redeveloping their ground, to the point where those two no longer host Tests because they couldn't make the finances work.
There is talk that the Hundred will expand to 10 teams, with one at Durham and then another at either Bristol or Taunton (they've finally accepted that people in the West Country won't support a Welsh team)

Cheers i must have missed that
Went off in the Ipswich game.

I reckon they'll try and get Lampard.

I do think they'd have been all over Manning if he was still available.

He always seemed a bit of an odd fit there, completely different in style to what they've been used to and the fans never took to him.
-
Don't know if he's been this season, he was definitely at the last home game of last season against Burnley as he was on with Twentyman beforehand.

What chance this isn’t a Saturday 3pm kick off?
I can’t make the Saturday afternoon so hoping for literally anything else! (Sorry traditionalists)
Reasonable chance I'd say. It won't be picked for TV or anything, but there are a lot of London clubs at home and ties also tend to get moved around for overseas broadcast.

I think he could have phrased what he said in a better way, but my word there's some leaps being made in this thread too, questioning his integrity etc. Mainly from people who've clearly decided they aren't giving him a chance, despite what they might say.
And as for the LJ comparisons....
Are we going to get this every time we lose a game?

That was, for large portions of the game, a very dull watch. Not overly impressed with “Manning-Ball” so far.
This squad is no where near top 6 material.
Of course it isn't. I'd bet my mortgage that Jon Lansdown doesn't really think it is either, but when you've got to try and justify getting rid of a manager and can't admit that it's because you couldn't deal with his personality, you'll spout whatever shite you think you can get away with.

It is the last 2 games, that’s for sure. Pearson would’ve been hanged for todays subs and second half performance. I cannot for the life of me understand any of them, and they absolutely contributed to us losing.
I’d love to know what’s he’s said at HT in every game so far. Because the total inability to resemble a football team from minutes 45-75 under him so far is really concerning.
You know what I mean.
By all means have a go at them for today, but they're not the biggest issue and surely everyone realises that?

Does that mean we can't go down, because we certainly look one of the 4 or 5 weakest sides.
No we don't.
I get the anger over that today, but let's not overreact.

Does it have to be 10% of the capacity? At least 6k then. Good to get a decent draw for once, a ground we’ve never played at.
15%, depnding on how workable that is, so more like 8/9k

I agree about holding them accountable, I'm just not sure what repeatedly posting it on every thread no matter the subject actually achieves.
