bristol bell boy
Is it just me or have other fans noticed this season that when the away teams attacks have broken down and there defences were stretched and the likes of maynard making his runs and screaming for the ball, every time mcindoe has been the man to pick up the ball he has taken 3 or 4 touches and the chance of a swift counter attack has gone or even playing the fowards in with a first time pass. In this division the defenders are better and surely GJ has by now learn't that we have to break out more swiftly and play our forwards in quickly and that should improve our strikers goal returns. here's to next season comments please. And breathe out.... What I can't understand is that when defending a corner we don't just leave Ivan on the halfway line and hoof up the park at the earliest opportunity. Just to clarify I am not a professional manager or ever been a television pundit .
Lack of Action Man
Yeah I've noticed this too. In general our passing football is NOWHERE near as accurate or as quick as Reading or Brum. Not so sure about Wolves. Undoubtedly they are a decent attacking side but didnt really impress me with dynamic football.
Andrew_V1
I have noticed this about macca with alarming regularity this season A fair few times this season we have been on the break away, and maynard will point where he wants the ball played so he can run in and shoot, but instead he takes 3 touches, starts huffing and puffing then spunks the chance up the wall by playing a shot straight into a defender or wide or so weak the keeper deals with ease I thought me and my mate were the only 2 noticing this...
