Tim S
Now that Trundle has gone, I wonder who will be taking up the title of pre-season fat club king after returning from their holidays? Dont the players normally do a bleep test on their first day back?
stroudy
Think that was just GJ's regime. Albert said in his interview it was only a light session today.
Keith_Lemon
Would of been a light session today yes. Coppell likes to start of slow then build the fitness up. While GJ on the first few days would tire the players out
Bristolian76
The boot camp regime is no more.

Robbored
Things will be much more cultivated and sophisicated under Coppell. He'll treat the players with respect and gently remind that their fitness is their own responsibilty. He's already using a sport scientist who he worked with previously at Reading and the first day back was a simple enough light session. No 'boot camp' with a 'naughty boy' regime for those who put on a few pounds over the summer. Interesting to hear his views on trialists on World. Somerset_Sam
Interesting to hear his views on trialist on World. what did he say?
Robbored
what did he say? That he's not too keen on trialists because they tend to up their game playing for a contract and when the contract is signed its hard for some players to maintain that original level of performance. In other words a Tony Dinning scenario....
