BCFC Jordan
Now just wait for someone to say he is a better choice as manager than Millen...
Keith_Lemon
Gas fans will probably be thinking he will be their next manager! He's ok was well out of his depth with Burnley and Sheff Wed, good manager for the lower leagues.
red badger
Now just wait for someone to say he is a better choice as manager than Millen... I'd be amazed if people felt we should ditch Milly for Laws. That said the Burnley fans I know felt the same sinking feeling when he was appointed that I felt when we went for Keith... It'll be interesting to see who they go for next. Their Chairman is excellent and has the same stated ambitions for his club as ours.
Donald
Laws should never got the job in the first place, was a matter of time until he was sacked.
Economou
Laws should never got the job in the first place, was a matter of time until he was sacked. There was something inevitable about it, although they're still in a reasonable position. The fact they lost to a perceived small club, S****horpe, didn't help his cause, although Scunny's away record is amazing.
Roger Red Hat
I thought his appointment showed exactly what the expectations of the Burnley board were, relegation and get a few seasons of parachute money. Laws was always a patsy.
simonwheeler
Agree with everything previously said? Brian Laws was always on a hiding to nothing and was always the cheap option when Coyle jumped ship. Whenever he has brought visiting teams to Ashton I must admit I have liked the way that he has made a point of going up to his clubs fans in the corner of the East End both before and after the game - respect. But unfortunately being a good guy generally does not make you successful.
