bs3
I know this was posted elsewhere but I felt the need to start a new post with a new heading to generate interest. I see this match as a six pointer a must win so we must put our opinions to one side and get behind the team in such an important match. Bring a friend who only comes for the big matches because this is a massive match. Bring out the old big flags in the Eastend and Dolman. Everyone wear red, everyone bring flags and scarfs. Any other ideas? Where is Percy Parrot when you need him?
bringbacktherobin
The big flag in the east end is not allowed to be put above peoples head due to stupid council rules, they are worried it is a fire risk.
bs3
When did that rule come in? Did it come in when the Lib Dems won control of the council, just after they graffiti the roads around the ground with double limes. The same Lib Dem council who refused sainsburys planning premission for Ashton Gate the same Lib Dem who referred the application for the new stadium the the TOWN GREEN application yet when they try selling off Bristol parks they refuse to do the same planning process . There should not be one single football fan in this City who vote for them again.

Funny how its a fire hazard in a no smoking stadium, and its made out of balloon material, but its not like our council to use common sense. I know for a fact that the Lib Dem supremo - Nick Clegg - is the known liar that told the students to vote for him and his party because they would never increase student tuition fees !!!!! Bring on the Red and White day and the gert big lush overhead flag.
Economou
Fans can do a lot more and of course fans inspire players. There is a flag day in the Eastend v S****horpe. It's about trying to be better fans, inspire ourselves and others win or lose. :englandsmile4wf: :englandsmile4wf: Amen to that. Hope it gets the players juices flowing too. I would say yes, on the FA cup game there was blokes selling flags on sticks etc, an shef wed fan had one in the away end. I take that as meaning you ca, but knowing city you will probably end up being banned.
