Port Said Red
I missed some of the commentary around halftime on Saturday and was wondering why Butlers name suddenly cropped up in the 2nd half. I gather Wooman was taken off, but why? The commentary team were full of praise for the way the defence was coping on the ground and in the air, so why mess with it? Was there an injury or illness we don't know about? :Confused13:
Port Said Red
Maybe, I haven't noticed Woodman being that suspect defensively though. I think a few of us would have been upset if a decidely off form Butler had come in and screwed up a 1-3 lead, so it was certainly brave of him. Port Said Red
taken off suffering from double vision Really? A few City fans were a bit dizzy at 0-3 but......... I hope he recovers quickly though.
Guest Red_Rat
I think it was a great decision by wilson,Hill at left back instead of Woody' just adds to our defensive strength,he keeps proving to us fans that he's got a great tactical mind
Maltshoveller
So Wilson's fav could play I expect - wilsons fav was already playing at right back what has carey got to do to be dropped (please not say have a bad game .He never has a good one!!) Riaz
wilsons fav was already playing at right back what has carey got to do to be dropped (please not say have a bad game .He never has a good one!!) But when does he have a bad game? I sort of understand what your saying (I think). I Think Carey is a good player at this level, but if we went up, we should look to replace him. bcfc seattle
Could be we were up and he wantd Butler to get in, having loyalty to a player who played very well for us last season isn't a bad thing. Putting him into a game we seemingly had in hand was a good chance for him to play back into form.
