22A Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 I was in Ipswich on Tuesday and read "The East Anglian" and the "Ipswich Evening Star". In readiness for the impending regulations stopping clubs spending more than they earn, ITFC announced they had got spending down to just 89%. They then warned there is a drastic need to cut their wage bill and both manager & chairman stated Jason Scotland and three others are our highest paid players; all four are out of contract this Summer, we may not be able to offer them the same terms IF they do re-sign. Meanwhile in the letters page was the sort of thing you expect on OTIB:- "Paul Jewell & his assistant should be shown the door.
