22A
If in two years we're 9 places above Brum and near Charlton & M'boro', I won't complain.
Guest pogue mahone
a quick analysis of those 24 teams, shows that 7 are now in the premiership, 8 are still in division 1, 7 are in division 2 and 2 have fallen into the basement. all of which goes to prove nothing of course, except that the fluidity of rank in the football league is probably not as constrained as some people may imagine. Thornbury Red
If only big Joe hadnt had walked out on us to join Hearts We were in the top six of the first division and flying. The board appointed a succession of muppetts and it all went pear shaped. Bah! :Rage:
Guest WillsbridgeRed
"The board appointed a succession of muppetts and it all went pear shaped. Bah! " That just sums up most of the 90's I think. We could have signed Collymore, the sigings we made untill 96 were shocking. The direction of the club was non-existent. If it wasn't for Scott Davidson I think we'd be in Div 3 now
