Never to the dark side
With the Rugby world club on Saturday could the club not open one of the bars early. Followed by the Man Utd match and the the Barnsley match. Just a thought
Rule The Waves
Pubs/bars etc need to have special licences to open early and show these types of matches which need to be applied for ages in advance so I doubt it very much.
Stoke_Gifford_Red
I suggest you should ask Steve Landsdown about this on his page.

Dave L
Hmm. Starting at 8.30 through the Rugby, the Prem game and then leading up to the Barnsley match. That's 6 and a half hours boozing. I'm not sure we have the toilet facilities to support that amount of quaffing.

In terms of licensing, most pubs were seeking permission this week and getting it by all accounts. As for the games, City already have a licence for terrestrial and Sky so don't see that as a problem either.
