CityFarAndWide
Another post away from from city but In my mind the guy deserves any kind of credit. Top role model for professional players. He has taken on an ambassador role at the club. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18902734
Super
Where this guy could of gone without Injuries. Was a Class act with a dodgy knee.
Barrs Court Red
Was one of the most impressive footballers I have seen play for England. A real shame his body just didnt suit football.
hinsleburg
I honestly believe he could've captained England if he had two knee's, I think it was Henry who said he was the best CB he'd ever played against.
Wardie
I was worried for a moment that you were going to suggest we sign him!! Great player injuries just stopped him from becoming World Class
Carey 6
Spurs always looked a better team with him in the starting 11, pity about the injuries as I think he would have been one of the first names on the England team sheet most games Also just read, played 313 games and only ever been booked 8 times!!! That is amazing for a centre back
Super
has he still the record for the fastest prem league goal?
'Orns
Absolute legend of a player, real shame that he's been so badly affected by injuries Will never forget his performance against France in Euro 04, immense in a defensive midfield position, even though he rarely played there for Tottenham
_Bristol-City_
Would have been the best centre back in the world with both knees.
SecretSam
You could compile a truly sensational England XI with all the sick notes - King, Woodgate, Hargreaves, Owen...etc. Great player, when he played. But given his record, should never have gone to South Africa in 2010

bearded_red
Such a waste of talent, he had absolutely everything that you need to be a top class centre half. Would've easily played over a 100 times for England and would have more than likely claimed the armband at some stage. The way he played for Spurs on one leg and not being able to train from about 2006 up until this season was simply miraculous.
