Super
Nothing wrong with it as long as the players behave.
RedM
I guess the whole idea of a works Xmas party is for staff to socialise and get together under circumstances & in a situation not normally possible. Don't our players have enough free time when they can get together if they wish anyway? I know they are 'at work' as such but they seem to be away in hotels at least once a fortnight too. It would be a nice gesture if they had a Xmas party in the DEH and maybe invited all the local OAP's or kids and the players had to wait on them and look after them. Maybe it would be a humbling experience for them and a bit of reality in their pampered lives?

RedM, that's one of those great ideas which is so good you just know it will never happen.
Bazooka Joe
With the amount of money their players get paid, it's Christmas all year long!!!!
sglosbcfc
Opposing strikers have received Christmas presents from QPR players all season. I guess as a Bristol City fan I shouldn't really say anything though.

Guest Bcfc-till-I-die
Maybe Del should think about adopting a similar stance with our team? Link below! http://news.sky.com/story/1022178/redknapp-cancels-qprs-christmas

Cancel Xmas, cheap publicity stunt to appear like he gives a shit, meanwhile players are still millionaires and dont give a shit, but if it makes the average stupid QPR fan happy then harry the spiv has done it again. If you read the story, its the players, not Redknapp that have instigated this.

Aye OK, but it changes little, Harry probably said 'it would sound better coming from you' I dont see how this self inflicted penance will detract from or disguise the facts of the situation. would you care if Cameron came out and said 'today im not drinking tea' and we should all think, Wow DC, he really cares giving up tea for us. Worthingexile
Achieves nothing IMO. As said a publicity stunt. What about the poor sods who work hard behind the scenes? Do they not deserve an night out? Keep it simple and in moderation, if anything it might lift damp spirits. Christmas joy to all!
