Gmac
Been a keen reader on here for a while but never been compelled to post, but the number of injuries that we have sustained this season has to be questioned? What do we get them doing in training? With key players being injured results in average players filling in positions, is a bigger squad filled with better players the answer? If so it will take time to improve the overall quality of the squad so things need to happen sooner rather than later. Thanks, G

Thanks, G It's a tough one, many factors could be involved....lack of physical fitness, too much lactic acid in the body, hard surfaces with an insufficient warm up, body fatigue......and of course, pure bad luck. Red
i would like to see players wearing much thicker boots with better ankle supports. These ballerina boots they put on these days help toward all kinds of feet injuries. Too many clubs think you need to put physical strength before loosening the limbs. How many times do players pull hamstrings in warm ups before kick off. When youngsters are spotted with good footballing talents at schoolboy or teenage level, most of them have never touch a weight but are deemed good enough for pro football, natural skill. Get the players doing cross country, more warm ups with a ball in training, stretching exercises etc.. All this is better then power building!
