pongo88
Since SoD has taken over City have become much more organised and have picked up points at home. What is slightly worrying, is since the beginning of February, City has stopped scoring goals from open play. Of the nine matches City have only scored goals from open play in two of them – Forest and Middlesbrough. The others were: Feb 2 - Blackburn………..……lost 2 -0 Feb 16 - Cardiff……………..…lost 2-1 (own goal) Feb 19 – Crystal Palace……...lost 2-1 (own goal) Feb 23 - Barnsley……………..won 5-3 (all from free kicks / corners) March 2 - Blackpool………......drew 0-0 March 5 - Brighton………....…drew 0-0 March 16 – Wolves………...…lost 2-1 (own goal) As games are running out and the other teams around City are picking up points, is it time for SoD to be a bit more adventurous? Part of the problem with the Wolves game was City tended to play too deep in the second half. If they had pushed forward a bit more the game could have been different. fatchers
No need to panic. SOD's secret weapon for away games has scored 3 in last 4 from open play . In OWEN Goal we trust. Now, when SOD sorts out a plan B, we could build a team around him.
