Brizzle Jordan
PSG Sign a 19 year old CB called Marquinhos from Roma for 30.1M. Only had 1 seasons experience in Europe. He obviously has masses of potential but 30.1m is ridiculous IMO.

PSG wont be paying installments, with their finances they would just pay it all upfront.
Nibor
The fee is 35 million euros. PSG wont be paying installments, with their finances they would just pay it all upfront. No fee has been officially disclosed but it has been reported the Marquinhos has cost big-spending Les Parisiens in the region of 35million euros (£30.1million).Sky Sports. No fee on the PSG site.So it is very unlikely that it is a transfer fee of €35m, just look at the way it's phrased. It is a deal that "cost them in the region of €35m".And no, they won't pay it up front. Transfer fees of this size are always partly contingent on conditions and always staged payments.Think about it - why on earth would they just give away millions and not reduce their risks?People in control of large amounts of money just don't ever think like that. Having the finances doesn't mean they don't do commercial negotiation properly.Real business doesn't work like FM2013.

MichaelRobartes
PSG & Monaco represent everything that is wrong with French football. Chelsea and Man City are flying the flag for England as well.

Philly The Kid
Totally ridiculous. I mean, why not just call it £30m. Ridiculous to add another .1 Because the transfer is in Euros, which was a flat amount. It's only when you change it into pounds at the applicable exchange rate, the 0.1 appears. downendcity
Wonder what the point of the 0.1 is ? That's all they would have needed to spend to get Fontaine - and save themselves £30m
Atticus
So does FFP not apply to PSG and Man CIty?? Im confused, how can they get away with spending £90+ mill in on window?
InCider
Chelsea and Man City are flying the flag for England as well. Not to forget how much Man U have spent. It annoys me when people criticise those 2, but forget how much Man U have spent over the years.
MATT BCFC
Lots of players I have never heard of going for obscene amounts this summer. Fernandinho going for 30 million is even more crazy I think. Wrong side of 20 and hardly any caps for his national country (albeit that is Brazil) but they arent blessed with the calibre of players they used to be in midfield. Isn't FFP only based on wages? I expect the large fee will incorporate a good chunk of a signing on fee . . .
