Murraysrightplum
Why would he leave Oldham? And don't say Oldham is a shit hole. He lives in Cheshire
BRISTOL86
I would actually be in favour of that. I've no doubt he will have a good career ahead of him.
hippy273
He's barely been a manager 8 months, give it time and perhaps..
BRISTOL86
He's barely been a manager 8 months, give it time and perhaps.. Your point? We won't get anyone with any more of a successful past than SOD so why not gamble on someone for the future?
SimplyRed
Lee Johnson is a "young, promising manager" with no experience of any of the top two tiers - not what we need...
LondonBristolian
Lee Johnson is a "young, promising manager" with no experience of any of the top two tiers - not what we need... Exactly what we need. Any manager who has experience in the top two tiers but is happy to take a job with League One relegation candidates probably isn't still managing in the top two tiers for a damn good reason. We need someone who's actually on the up - not someone who did something good once several years ago.
italian dave
But, again, why would he come here??

Lee Johnson would be another nail in the coffin for this club. We've tried that tactic with Derek McInnes. We need to learn form it and move on. For heaven's sake, Johnson has only been in the job a few months!
