SC clearly stated that he chose the diamond against Tamworth as a tactical option because of their height and strength to try and protect the back four but also give JEt some space in the pocket. That doesn't mean it's his favoured formation or that we'll play it every week. Gillett may well be in the JET role and JET in the Taylor role today, but it looks more like a straight 4-4-2 to me. The widemen will presumably get wide, rather than operate more centrally as they did under SO'D. He also prefers a team with a man who can play the lone role from what i understood. What we need are players who can provide the chances for him goals will then come. Aside from that, I can see us performing well as they all need to impress for their place in the team for a start.
