What actually happened? Didn't have the best view but looked like a good strong tackle by Bobby and the Stevange bench overreacted massively?

Stevenage player got angry at Bobby for his challenge and tried to stamp on his head.

The ref should have pulled the game up just before when Reid had his shirt pulled. A bit or red mist maybe but he won the ball fairly and although two footed was along the ground

Reid's tackle was great, but with football nowadays you make a good strong challenge like that and a severe case of hysteria breaks out. As was the case when Stevenage's bench went mental at his tackle.

But the their bench over-reacted massively. JET stepped in, then it went into chaos. Half of our bench were then in the middle.

As above - perfectly good tackle which the Stevenage bench massively over-reacted too.

Was nice to see the rest of the team standing up for Bobby.

Fair play to the ref too: he could have felt the need to pull out red cards after that melee, but didn't.

Tackle was by Louis I thought. Can't believe that was mistaken identity (what with Louis having a beard!)  - so I assumed that Marv said something he shouldn't.

i thought the ref did ok apart from the late bookings today,tried to keep game flowing but did seem to let stevenage off more than us

Had a perfect view. Bobby won the ball fair and square. Their bench provoked the trouble, one of their players grabbed Bobby who kept his arms at his sides. Then it all kicks off.. Bobby got booked along with their player who reacted to him.....IMO the ref bottled it booking Bobby as well, hardly his fault their bench reacted like they did.

As for the incident, I dont get how it is ok for an entire bench to enter the field of play unpunished. Normally a physio cant even come on to tend to an injured player without specific permission from a ref

That has to be the best evaluation of the refs we've had this season "look at me and my shiny wistle"

Try too hard to get every decision right and end up blowing up for everything
