Probably the Kop at one end(http://www.footballgroundguide.com/old-grounds-and-stands/anfield-liverpool-kop.html)

The old Wolves terracing at the other (that was so steep it was terrifying and exciting at the same time) (http://www.footballgroundguide.com/old-grounds-and-stands/old-molineux-wolverhampton.html)

Charlton's terracing that used to run along the side (http://valleyaddey.blogspot.co.uk/2010_09_01_archive.html) or maybe Huddersfileds (as that was under cover) (http://www.footballgroundguide.com/old-grounds-and-stands/leeds_road_huddersfield.htm)

..and to keep the corporates happy, maybe the South stand at Hillsborough (http://www.footballgroundguide.com/sheffield_wednesday/index.htm)

That side terrace at the old Valley was truly vast!

Was it not the biggest capacity ground in England at one stage..?

Not quite on topic but I loved the old home park, away days there in 95 and 96 will live long in my memory.

One of my older city mates in his 50s, who s been round the block more than once and been to almost every away ground in the last 40 years, says the amazing thing he heard was the ild kop at st andrews giving 'keep right on' the full works. Cant remember the year, but he says it was yhe the most impressive, intimidating, moving experience at an away day. Trust me when I say he has seen jt done it, so when he says that, he carries a lot of weight with me.

St. Andrews has certainly changed then!

Half empty, silent and in a shit hole, would be my description nowadays.

There're here, they're there, they're every fcuking where....... Empty seats. It's the new Birmingham anthem, or should be..!

I'll have the EE at one end, connected to 'the Shed' from Kingsholm (Gloucester Rugby) running down one length to form one big East End like stand that runs halfway around the ground. The Anfield Kop at the other end (although if not bound by English grounds the South Stand at the westfalenstadion wins hands down) with the Goodison Road Stand as Grandstand.

Capacity 35,000

Of course it has.

You usually post like you know what you're talking about.

I'd have the Anfield Kop at one end, the Holte End.....obviously at the other end.

On the sides, I'd have the Chelsea East Stand and the side tearracing that used to be at the old Goldstone Ground in Brighton.

Capacity = Huge.....

This is my ultimate English ground - with so many memories with the old man - see video below.

I kind of wanted Ashton Vale but in a strange way, it feels quite warming that my son will stand / sit in the same ground as his grandfather and his great grandfather - Ashton Gate

Great footage and quite emotional watching this old place.

You can see my perfect Stadium built here in model form...includes Villa, Highbury, Craven Cottage and Ibrox...loads of history, tradition, atmosphere and built to last.

Check out the Architect and what great grounds he designed...a legend that few know about.

I didn't mate...it belongs to an Italian friend.

It's quiet amusing from an Italian perspective. They love English football stadiums and the traditions and history...they think we are crazy for knocking them down and building bowls like many of their own.

I know quiet a few lads that travel to older grounds, just to get that feel of history and tradition... I concur with their thoughts entirely.

went to west brom early 70s,mate wba fan.

man.u and arsenal were the games{best playing for man u }

atmosphere fantastic but in their end they were split between west brom and smethick.

smethick boys would only join in with chants of albion,never sing if it was about west brom!!

also the first time I ever heard liqudator sang at a football ground.

anyway was the first 40,000 crowd i'd ever been in and for the old boys on her bomber brown scored 2 and they beat man u 2.1
