havanatopia
Impressed SC when Watford played us earlier in the season. An interesting way to bring a player in based on those two legged matches with Watford. That and the fact Nyron seems to have had a decent career not least with Sunderland. The noteworthy part of this deal is that, on paper at least, he seems to be an improved option compared to the suspended El Abd Welcome to the club Nyron and hope it proves a good move for both parties. Do your best to help us find some elusive clean sheets please Edited March 15, 2014 by havanatopia
And Its Smith
It's a great signing. Should secure our survival.

HoldenBall
They tried to get the ball past Nyron.......
Pickle Rick
Very impressed with this! Vastly experienced and has always looked assured when against us or on tv.
TRL
Looked a good player in the past. My worry if he is here just a month he will take a few games getting match fit. Always a risk no matter how good a player is. Good luck Byron hope you hit the ground running.
havanatopia
Very solid debut by all accounts. Well done Nyron.. keep that up squire.
MrBibs
Looked immediately like a player from a higher level. Very impressed with him and actually felt confident of a clean sheet all afternoon.

formerly known as ivan
Only bad thing about his performance today is knowing the fact that eventually all-bad and flint will soon be back. He looked a good signing today and would be nice to have him until the end of the season
pongo88
Sorry to disagree with everyone else but I thought he looked average at best. No real pace - imagine a central pairing of him and El Abd!!!!!!!
Robbie_Turner
Confident and assured debut I second that. He looked like a proper defender, confident, read the game well and good on the ball. I wonder if Watford will take El Abd in a straight swap :-)
Super
I thought he did ok, his first few touches worried me and he looks average on the ball buthe does look like he can defend
Red-Robbo
In the right places at the right times - Which is an improvement. Williams was the pick of the defenders today IMO but Nosworthy was solid.

He looked a good signing today and would be nice to have him until the end of the season I think SC is bold enough to stick with the right players and not drop them for as long as Osbourne & Nosworthy play how they did today. A back 4 of Maloney -- Osbourne -- Nosworthy -- Williams/Cunningham would be as good as any in this league and also would compete in the Championship. As it stands, I'd say that if you put Flint & El Abd as our CB's then we look very nervy and easily compromised.
pride of the west
His age! Think about his age and the 5 match sticks God dammit! Ok on a serious note he's only here for a month and he looked good today. He clearly loves defending and getting stuck right in. There was one occasion second half where the ball was up to be won and you could just see a glint in his eye. He took a couple of steps back so he could then go steaming into the back of their lump upfront with a proper run up and win the header. I can't see him bottling anything. redsquirrel
he certainly brought some confidence with him, fair bit of the second half he was our only defender with everyone else trying to make a goal happen up the other end
gordie
I thought he did ok, his first few touches worried me and he looks average on the ball buthe does look like he can defendwhich is what we have needed for a long time, a defender who defends,
reddogkev
Has any other player ever had the first name Nyron?
Chappers
Did OK, but lacks pace and was not really tested today. Not a bad short-term loan, but exactly the type of signing to avoid if we are looking to progress long-term.Wonder why some people seem to rank every debutant as some sort of wonder-player.
