havanatopia
Fabulous City... a crucial win on a day when Preston could have gone top and been the first team to have been able to do so, more or less, since we reached that pinnacle. We held our bottle and a deserved win. Another record smashed my babbers.. have a wee tipple, relax and then get back on the 'focus wagon' . How much longer can we keep this going chaps????? I mean how much longer really????
MC RISK77
Incredible achievement....every credit to cotterill the players and obviously SL and the board for getting this appointment spot on....in answer to the question I would be pleasantly surprised if we are still unbeaten by end of November but very much enjoying it at the moment

22A
Icing on the cake for me? On BBC Radio Cambs, it was announced P'boro had lost to three of the bottom four teams and today faced the bottom club. Fergusson assured listeners, Posh wouldn't wobble like they did a year ago. Well done Mark Robins for leading Scunny to a win at London Road. Also well done Rovers. Three nil down home to Lincoln, but Forest Green fought back to draw 3-3. 22A
Today's game passed two milestones. 1. it was City's 4,400th League game and 2. our 1,700th League win. Score four more League goals and that will be 6,300 since the 1901-02 season. 58 more points (currently that's mathematically feasible) to have racked up 5,200. Esmond Million's Bung
Surely a draw would be ideal. Although a Swindon win wouldn't hurt too much, that would leave them 7 points behind and PNE 5 points behind and their games in hand gone. Corsham Alf
It was a superb gritty win by City against a strong & well drilled Oldham side. The clean sheet was the result of a collective team performance & spirit. Wins like that could def see us going for automatic promotion. I will say I was very impressed by Oldhams away support. They really made an incredible noise. I'd love to hear that level of noise at Swindon on the 15th. Up the City!
havanatopia
That does n't mean much if they don't win them ,Preston ,cough ! Indeed and as is often the case especially when the Northern winter kicks in, while we are basking in our prolonged indian summer, the likes of Preston in the north and MK in the east look at fixture pile up as high as the snow drifts. Rock on.
