pongo88
A very interesting read, particularly a team called Bristol Rovers (?) in 4th place in the most home wins table. This must prove the old adage that there are lies, damn lies and statistics.

Admin Ian M Posted December 31, 2014 Admin Share Posted December 31, 2014 Even better when you consider we started the year with a team that had been poor enough to sit 3rd bottom in League One.
Guest Mahatma Coate
One year ago, all hope of promotion to the Championship had gone so we were going to be somewhere between 47th and 92nd in the league as at the end of 2014. We are 47th, we could have done no better. Meanwhile, the delusional few still harboured dreams of overtaking us in 2014 and relegation was not an option. They too, would be somewhere between 47th and 92nd in the league as at the end of 2014. They are now OUTSIDE OF THE LEAGUE - I.e. Lower than 92nd. They could not have done worse. The fact that they are second or third in NON LEAGUE is of no consequence. We could have done no better, they could have done no worse without ceasing to exist. Happy New Year. Admin Ian M Posted January 2, 2015 Admin Share Posted January 2, 2015 Amazes me how Steve Bruce still has a job looking at that I don't pay a great deal of attention to the Premier League as City aren't in it, but haven't they suffered a lot of injuries so maybe the Allams are understanding owners (apart from when it comes to fans feelings about name changes).
