Better get Stephen Hawkins in as coach....

Brian cox as assistant coach?

He could always bang out a rendition of "Things can only get better!" To motivate the squad.

Well, from our perspective, that has sounded truely dire.

Yes Preston do not make it easy, but not a single shot. Trouble maybe with a small squad, and an even smaller group that play!

Only good news is we seem to have one good half, one poor one, although they do normally come in that order.

Still don't understand why Wilbs is a consistent starter for us.

IMO Burns is a much better choice, fair play to Wilbs, he had a decent season last year but he just doesn't change the game (like Burns did against WBA - instant impact, hungry for the ball etc).

Im not manager but I would have made atleast a few changes today, probably Burns and Reid in at the very least. Will be so annoyed if we do t take 3 points tonight, especially after how well we played on Saturday

He's playing a tactical blinder fighting the French as General Kutuzov in "War and Peace", so not a bad shout.

He's had our patience long enough.

He looked genuinely taken aback and then just glared for several seconds. What does he think he's seeing that we don't?

We look utterly apalling, devoid of even the slightest modicum of creativity. Awful, awful football.

Not the best half. Final ball lacking at the moment but pretty untroubled at the back so far.

Luke Ayling and Korey Smith are different class to anyone else.

Mark Little looks like he's carrying a bit too much turkey.

A oretty even half, hopefully will liven up second half.

Korey Smith is our best, most consistent player by a streak, why he hasn't been snapped up yet is beyond me.

Luckily he's the type of player that slips under the radar.

Are you ill? Ayling is the start of anything creative we've done. He's proper class.

It's a complete lack of movement in midfield that is our problem, freeman needs to offer himself more ,when he is in space he doesn't call for the ball and then gets the ball when he has a man right on him, Reid please cotts

Don't worry midfield is covered . We've all heard the rumours of our approaches for quality players for this position have n't we ? have n't we ? perhaps not .

need not worry, at least we are sorting out the fact be don't have a LB or RB in the traditional sense that would let us switch formations

Just so frustrating to listen to on Radio Bristol, hope Cotts gives them a good bollocking and gets them to push on a bit more, otherwise I predict a Preston goal on the break. Might as well throw in a defensive error for good measure. Probably in the final minute too. Need to change. If I was Cotts, I'd bring on Agard, but let's face it, that aint gonna happen.

Whose radar? Maybe the layman's but I don't think he'll slip under the radar of those clubs or scouts who know what they're looking for.  people in the game will be more than aware of him.

Probably true, not heard of any interest in him though. One of our better signings by miles.

Hopefully he doesn't go, would be a lot of quality gone there

However much we would like to believe in the team and club, we are constantly disappointed.

I still believe the team is good enough but the squad is now worse than threadbare

The manager continues in the second half of the season to keep making same mistakes: same formation same result, same team, no substitution policy, poor coaching and now added to this inability to attract new players ( Carey implied as much pre match on Radio Bristol that SC may be the problem and not wages). Robinson more circumspect also seemed to be critical,of manager.  When asked why City didn't announce new goalie yesterday, SC made a rather snide remark about keeping the local Press out of it.  If the booing adds anything it will be to send SC spiralling downwards in the matter of holding it together.  SL won't sack SC as I believe he should have done months ago.

Hope therefore the captain can inspire team in second half even if the manager is in a big sulk

Was just going to ask if anyone would be happy with a draw .

From a distance it just sounds to me that our lads are run into the ground .

Run into the ground after 55 mins?  Kin el. Draw not good. We're playing Middlesbrough next.
