that one goal has sent us from 16th to 21st! An equaliser would send us back again. Tight as...

Tis crazy, so tight it's unreal. To be honest the whole league is so tight, if we had an extra 3 wins under our belt, we could be around 10th.

Further confirms how bad we did last summer with recruitment!!!

Makes you wonder where we would be in the league without all the last  minute / extra time goals we have conceded!

FT at MK dons. We are now the only side that they could possibly catch. However they need 3 wins and we would have lose all 3.

Technically, us and four others.

Disappointing result tonight, but think we have seen enough from this game and Sheff Wed to see how LJ wants us to shape up and play. Not so very far away, but still work in progress. Sounded like Kodjia could well have made it 3-3.

They could also catch Blackburn, Forest, Fulham or Rotherham.  Admittedly it'd take more of a swing of goal difference to manage it.  That probably rules out Blackburn, Forest and Fulham but they'd need a 12 goal swing to catch Rotherham and that's perfectly possible if one team wins three and the other loses 3.  (In reality that won't happen obviously.  MK Dons are down.)

Are we not one of 5 teams they can catch? Goal difference obviously playing a factor...

Charlton relegated... and Massive goal for Burnley there!

Rovers fate out of their own hands.

We require a point from 3 games. Survival party at Blackburn then?

Frankly if we couldn't muster a single point from two games against fellow relegation candidates and one against a team with nothing to play for then we'd fully deserve relegation.  It won't happen though.  I'm optimistic tonight will prove to be our last defeat of the season.

On paper our hardest game left, against a team now secure in the play offs. Just fell short tonight, but 'as good as' safe.

Despite going into the second half ahead after 2 opportunist goals (not taking anything away from Reids strike) we were poor for large parts of the game and resorted far too much to long balls AGAIN in the second half with a striker best suited with balls to his feet.

Derby were much better second half pushing forward more and putting pressure on defence and generally wanted/won the ball more all around the pitch..

A lesson in what's needed to compete at this level
