Bristol City Artwork.

... just putting some feelers out there. Mods feel free to remove if you feel it's inappropriate.

In my spare time, I produce and get commissioned 'Artwork', mainly 'Subbuteo' themed, that are Club, Tournament or player related.

They get hung or displayed in offices, studies, bedrooms, living spaces etc. Often presents for loved ones or just for fans.

The likes of Ferguson, Charlton, Di Canio, Buffon all own some...and have quiet a few collectors of it.

I very rarely get asked for Bristol City related ones...I've done a few of the Promotion winning team of last season and the 1976 team, but that's about it.

Would there be any interest from City fans? I've thought about contacting the Club as to whether it's something they'd be interested in selling in the shop.

All bespoke and hand painted. Some have original autographs...others printed.

Just wondering whether anyone would be interested...

Some recent examples...

Could you do me a Steve Cotterill one, spud? All his promotion teams, nice big photo of his face in the middle, maybe put the word "winner" in quotes somewhere?

Will put that in the horror section... or part fictional haha.

Joking aside...why not...look at that every morning, and you'd certainly feel better about yourself ;-)

If you are seriously interested guys...give me a pm, with exactly what you would like.

Can discuss via pm or email.

Price is dependent on how much work is involved, materials, pics, any autographs etc.

They are all bespoke and one off's.

Comes with authenticity cert and number etc.

Thanks for the kind words and interest.

I've got a few 1976 ones to do with Robins badge :-)

They're very impressive, Spudski and I am tempted to go for one of the 1976 ones. Not only because of City getting to the top flight that year but because I actually played a fair bit of subutteo at that time. I fear they will be expensive because of the work involved, but that isn't a criticism it is actually a compliment to how good, and unique, it is.

Can I have a team of Aden Flints? :D

That would cost a bominiaturth all the intricate tattoos Spudski would have to recreate in minia

IGNORE THE ABOVE I CANNOT CHANGE IT. THIS IS WHAT IT SHOULD SAY:

I've seen your Leicester one on Instagram - did you know it was posted on there? Good work.

I didn't mate...lots of stuff gets taken and put on social media.

I had a picture taken, and used on the front and back cover of an Italian football book. Didn't know anything about it, until a friend spotted it in a book store...nuts eh!

Just a heads up to everyone who sent me pm's today, I'll get back to you most likely on Sunday.

Got Qpr tomorrow, and been busy tonight.

Many thanks all for kind words and interest shown.

Really like them.. Would be brilliant if City commissioned a massive one of every single player to play for us on one of the walls in the concourses and a bit of history about each player.. Imagine how great that would be.

Not sure it would be possible to create each player in Subbuteo form fella...you are kind of restricted with the molding. You can make a 'suggestion' as to who it is with paint, but it's massively time consuming.

Great suggestions and ideas though...will reply to all pm's tomorrow...getting ready for QPR now CoYR's :-)

Yeah in reality it would be really difficult and was a utopia really but if it was possible imagine how unique and interesting that would be

Have actually tried that in the past, got a student to paint the skin tones for me.

Got rid, as quality wasn't as good as what I could do.

Prefer to take time and make a good job of it.

Thanks everyone for the pm's...some really nice commissions coming up.

1976 teams, City Legends Teams, JPT trophy winners, Purple and Lime original, Last seasons double winners and a few from favourite seasons. Plus some England sets.

Hopefully I'll post a few City one's up in the not too distant future.

Many thanks again...was looking for some Inspiration :-)

Thought I'd share a commission I completed recently.

Gave me some great memories watching back the old footage. What a Legend Terry Cooper is. Also forgot completely about David Harle.

Hopefully the new owner will enjoy it, and it brings back fond memories like it does for me :-)

Ok - I've spoken to Spud, now the hard work begins

My first City game was 11 October 1986, we beat York 3-0 - does anyone know a good website that will give me the starting 11 and sub (kids, note 'sub', not 'subs'). Just googled but nothing from the first couple of links, or someone on twitter may know of a good person to ask??

That's what was requested on the commission, indeed it should be Premier League.

Good luck to our near neighbours on Sunday...another Commemorative piece of 'Subbuteo' Art to mark the occasion :-)

Dale Vince the owner had the last FGR's I made.

I really like the way you display them after all the hard work with the figures

You have a talent mate, and lots of patience !

Will be ordering  one when I have a few spare squid

Thanks for the kind words mate....I've always been artistic, so this fills my artistic urges, as well as my interest in football and Subbuteo.

I really like the research when getting commissions, it's surprising what you find.

As I said to Woodsy...it's better than watching TV in the evenings.

Look forward to your commission :-)

Lined em up in front of the 'Section 82' boys and girls...can you spot yourself? ;-)

Sir Steve with the League 1 'tin foil cup'  ;-)...next to SC and the boys...with a very full KB on the end.

@Woodsy Did you have any luck with your lineup? I have a book somewhere with City results etc that I inherited from me old man. I'll dig it out and have a look if you like...

Meanwhile, I found this on eBay. Dunno if it would be of interest to you?

Hiya Peg - no luck whatsoever with the line up, if you could take a look in that book I'd certainly appreciate it!

And thanks for the link, I was trying to find this online last week, couldn't find one for love or money - will order it now, good work!!

How are the fags going? I'm still clean, and I've not read the book.....going well!

Edit - just noticed the 'team changes' on this item, hopefully someone has made the appropriate changes and I've got my line up! The only person who I can remember playing, for absolute certain, is Andy Leaning.....for York! Random

Good stuff. Glad your still off the fags. I'm still awaiting biopsy results any day now. And I've decided to go the whole hog and get the GP to give my Zyban or Champix. Seems the best way for me.

Will dig out the book and let you know if I find owt. And I hope the programme helps too.

Got a feeling he came from Leeds with Harley, that should read Harle, predictive text again. Cannot change text when I use a quote.

Gary Hamson , I remembered the name but I had to Google him. Only played 12 games for us , scoring once. Found this piece on him, yes @handsofclay he came from Leeds.  http://alchetron.com/Gary-Hamson-596532-W

It's a funny one. The name rang a bell , then I was surprised he only played a few games and didn't really recognise his photo. Free transfer in, and £5,000 when he went. The way the club was that was probably a lot of money :P

I was a fan of Harle, bit of bite and could play a bit.
