Am I the only one that fears the worst? It's not that Cardiff aren't beatable - they very much are - it's just I can't see the Bristol City I know and love winning 5 games in a row! I would be reasonably happy with a point. A win and I would be ecstatic.

No you're not.

It's a Sod's Law game. How many times in the past have we been on the end of a new manager bounce for the opposition?

It's Warnock's first in charge so you can bet he will have them fired up and that he will get their crowd up for this one ( as if they need much help in that respect!)

A Cardiff goal early on and we could have a backs to the wall excercise to hold on.

We need to be on it from the start I reckon, but if we can subdue them for 15-20 minutes then it could gooier way.

My lad and 3 of his mates have got to Cardiff and realised they have left all 4 tickets at home in Bridgwater!!!

Absolute idiots!!

He has confirmation emails for the tickets on his phone.'

Question, does anyone think the Cardiff ticket office would re print them for him?

I reckon they'll say no, but I hope I'm proved wrong

Hopefully Tammy doesn't get kicked about too much. The worst thing that could happen if he went off injured and missed a few games.

Against a Warnock side I'd say it was a certainty.

Expect Wilbs to be on at some point to give him a bit of physical protection...

Did you ever go to the Estonian/Embassy Club, or was it back to being an Embassy when you were there?

Never heard of it, where was it Aiz, or are you joking?  The British consulate here don't issue visas, that's done by a private agency at an office in the Centre, they don't renew passports, they are dealt with in a German consulate, somewhere in Germany, it's a joke, what do they do for the half days in the week that they are open?

Seriously, the club was in the basement of what had been the Estonian Embassy in Cardiff. Cracking place for a late drink. Of course, in those days Estonia was part of the USSR.

Estonia had an Embassy in Cardiff, seems strange, was it because they couldn't afford one in London, surely they couldn't have, as you say,  they were part of the USSR, so they wouldn't have been allowed an Embassy,  as they weren't an independent country.  I think some one was pulling your leg after more than a few Vodka's.

No, I mean before 1939, when the USSR swallowed Estonia. Probably a consulate rather than an embassy, though.

Well if nobody else wants to say it then I will.

Cardiff is a shithole.

Come on the city boys!

The shite hole is in Canton, Bluebird territory, the rest of Cardiff is not bad and a few areas have some expensive properties.

Tonight's starting 11 makes good sense, think experience will be important and hopefully Tomlin will not get wound-up and booked or worse still.

Strong bench, would anticipate Wilbs appearing along with a midfielder or two should any of ours get booked or crooked.

Cotts a pundit. The pub I'm in is playing music so no idea what he's saying.

Talking about championship clubs who have changed their managers in  international break. Not mentioned us at all yet

There's been a lot of development in Cardiff, and there are plans for a really major public transport system for South Wales. How unlike our own beloved Bristol with its NIMBYs and bendybuses.

Yes, you are right, Cardiff Bay was just being developed when I moved there and is a very nice and interesting place.

Colin saying some nice things about us to be fair

Always does, I do like listening to him when we're not playing his team, or if he's on the radio. Otherwise I think he's a **** !

Cardiff forum are getting quite worked up , it seems the reds have arrived.

I asked the bouncer how they were allowed in. He said they "snook in". As soon as they were escorted to the ground, the bouncer said they had to temporarily close the Ivor Davies to "reorganise", so they've probably smashed it up like they did to the Great Western! I heard them singing God Save the Queen as well.

I just don't get this hating Colin.  Yes give him loads of stick at the ground and even in the run up, but every interview I have ever heard with him, including an extended one on R5 a couple of years back, he comes across as a decent bloke.

That said, I hope he goes home with his tail between his legs tonight and finishes below us at the end of the season, but apart from that, I wish the bloke no ill.

Did you go to the Rotherham game last season?

Watch and see what his team does to Tammy. His speciality is the rota foul. Four or five players take turns to hack the opposition's star player.
