The Official Ipswich Town v Bristol City Match Day Thread 11

Good half. To coin an LJ term, very dynamic interplay. There was a period late in the first half that was pure Tiki-taka on our right flank. Wasn't sure what kind of tab I had open . Excellent movement though, very fluid, exciting football. Hope we can nick a third and take the sting out of the game a bit.

Missed the first 10 mins trying to get working stream, but from the rest of the half we have been pretty much in control with a lot of the play coming through COD. Bailey Wright a bit suspect with several misplaced passed and was certainly not in RB position to even attempt to stop the cross from which they scored.

Would like to see Paterson find his man more often, taken a couple of greedy shots when we had others up in better positions.

Overall though got to be happy, but need to stay sharp as Waghorn's goal showed how clinical they can be with limited chances.

Does appear that what we hoped when LJ arrived is now, fingers crossed, beginning to happen. Lee was right then about three windows.  Must have been quite a mess in terms of team spirit when he arrived, and given how good it was in our promotion season, all the more depressing.

All goes to show that team spirit is difficult to achieve and easy to lose.  Let's hope this spirit continues and grows.

As BigTone would say, settle down! Do agree though RE team spirit, we look confident in our ability.

I would so love to see Garner get sent off .

Didn't he break the cheekbone of one of ours .

 I detest the bloke .

And some were calling for his signing in our promotion season. Horrible, nasty, rancid little *****.

Did you mention something about Ryan Air? I just heard an ad from them.. "low fares made simple" ... are they havin' a larf? Now of all timings? Has that Irish tishpot no shame?

Expecting him to announce £10 per minute phone line for passengers who wish to claim refunds and compensation.

Wasn't it a few months ago that City were a very poor team under Lee Johnson, seem to remember a catalogue of defeats and setbacks and rage towards the manager, and now I'm seeing a far improved side and something of even play off contenders.   Point being, you've certainly turned it around since the start of the season.   Fair play you deserve your lead.

We have the players to turn this around and I'd accept a point right now but would hope to win obviously.    Talk again after the game, whatever occurs.

Surely you're mistaken....we've always loved Johnson;)

If you replace "city" with Ipswich and "Lee Johnson" with Mick McCarthy.... the same turn around coins be said of yourselves.
