Fantastic result. Not going to lie, unexpectedly good given how I felt about the line up. Two away games, six points.

Injuries starting to pile up, and really disappointed about Pisano, but great great result and clean sheet.

Playing well, four points clear of 7th. Interesting.

Maybe it's good Baker didn't play. Nice and fresh for Sat.

spot on Esmond - thought Joe Bryan had another storming game but agree with your assessment. Leko had a good opportunity to impress but did not really grasp it. 3 good points and another really impressive performance, despite injuries.

Might be wrong but I thought I saw LJ have a real good go at him for giving the ball away.

Superb performance, Bryan & Smith particularly impressive

O'Dowda and Frankie too: the winger ran all over  the pitch, especially in the 2nd half, and our goalkeeper made at two great saves.

In fairness, all the lads played well, maybe with the exception of Leko (5.5?).

Great work again from the players and staff - nice to see Reid continue to score key goals, and a curate’s egg of a strike from Smith too.

Roll on Cardiff, which isn’t only now a derby where we absolutely owe them one after a couple of lean years results-wise, and also a top six clash.

Hope we give ‘em hell.

From the BBC: "In-form Bristol City produced a superb, counter-attacking away performance to win at Craven Cottage and extend Fulham's winless run to four matches."

Now that's so pleasing to read!

Sky chappy kept saying we were playing ‘great stuff’.

Not sure if you've noticed but we just beat Fulham 0-2 away from home?

It honestly baffles me why some of our fans will check to see how rovers get on before our own.

I listened to the entire commentary on Radio Brizzle whilst keeping an eye on the other scores on the net.  I certainly don't look at them ahead of us.

Great result and performance for us tonight. Now we must believe.

Looking forward to saturday more than ever now.

Fulham are yet another team of preening pussies and they certainly don’t like it up ‘em Mr Mannering.

In short we could have scored 6 tonight.

Proud is not the word.

Although free kicks are still super shit.

Fielding 7 one terrific save in the 2nd half

Wright 7 part of a well drilled defence

Flint 7 even some of his long cross field passes were spot on

Magnússon 7 Fitted in well

Bryan 9 just becomes more and more impressive

O’Dowda 8 easily his best game in a BCFC shirt, he terrorised them all night

Brownhill 8 has a great engine and improving all of the time

Pack 7 played really well, strong all night

Smith 9 MOM he was superb

Patterson 7 always a threat, a bit greedy at times

Reid 8 looked the part again tonight

LJ 9 what can I say?, right tactics, right team selections and good use of subs

Leko 6 didn’t see a lot of the ball

Djuiric 7 gave them something else to think about

I don’t want to brag but I called the sending off at halftime.

Generous to Pato who didn't do a lot and wasted great chance to make it 3-0. Also Leko was poor, lost possession a couple of times leading to attacks for them. Other than those two agree with all the rest.

Completely and utterly dominant. But for some poor finishing we could have had 5 or 6.

Ive not seen forward play like that from us ever.

Very well done the lads. And well done LJ. Very very impressive.

Korey, Joe, Bobby, COD all played out of their skin. The only thing that concerns me is the January transfer window.

Bryan has been literally on a different level this season. I can't see us even entertaining anything sub 10m and I don't believe there's any desire to sell.

There's a few contract's that need extending that's for sure and soon

Re Leko it was difficult for him because we were in game management mode when he came on but I thought he did well defensively, Patterson also did well defensively tonight, yes he was greedy at times but I thought he was always a threat.

How did Mags play? Good to see him get game time and us get a clean sheet.

Important that he can step up what with all the injuries were getting at the back.

He started a little rusty but then he groved into the game. He did alright. Nice that we have a good squad. No more injuries please.

A nice comment from the Fulham forum among the 'they're nothing special' posts....

'Bristol were brilliant tonight and fully deserved their victory. I applaud them for illustrating what attractive football is, and in fact they made me think of our squad in the second half of last year. They were strong, fluid, and didn't need many chances to score a goal. They didn't time waste and they were staunch in defense. I hope they go far this year. Best team we've seen all year.'

No need. 2-0 up and cruising against 10 men.

Good game management.

I can assure you that was not the case.  Our game management was not at all helped by having a kid come on whose confidence has gone and moving Bobby into midfield when he was clearly knackered.  Pack was steady tonight and subbing him weakened us due to the domino effect of changes.

Grayson fired

Insanity.  He's hardly taken over a successful operation and messed it up has he?  They are genuine League 1 contenders.  On the Radio some idiot (Phil Neville?) was suggesting the Shrewsbury manager.  Now, he's done well but is hardly better qualified than Grayson to do this job.   Can't see who they could employ - they'd picked a proven manager at this level and have got rid of him.

We gained 3 points on both Leeds and Sheff Utd. Revenge for Leeds and just a hint that the Blades bubble might burst soon>

And hopefully we can pop Cardiffs also.

I'm willing to give him a little more time but frankly only 6 points from the last 2 games just isn't good enough.

One poster said words to the effect 'if someone had offered me two away wins at the start of the last two matches I would definitely have taken it'.

I think that remark could be contender for classic status. ! Who are you? Show yourself!

Well it wasn't me! I think that shows a terrible lack of ambition.

Come on, give us a clue.

What position did you play, what number shirt?

I think he believed in Lee Johnson as a player (as in the player Lee Johnson and not that he was a player who believed in Lee Johnson)... errr

Think this season we are so much more composed on the ball at the back, probably a lot to do with there being more options for a pass in front of the back four. Last season, like Fulham last night, we played the ball around back four,  lost patience and then lumped it forward. This season centre backs all seem to have options when receiving the ball and all are prepared to bring it forward and move into space if they don't. Far less lumping and much more control, all of the players who have played back four all now seem much more comfortable on the ball.
