We look bereft of ideas, again. Pack and Smith drop too deep, Woodrow is a very poor player I'm sorry to say.

Issue with Woodrow is he's a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. He's not got the hold up play or the aerial ability of Milan, He's not got the pace or skill of Bobby, and not got the eye for goal or link up play of Diedhiou.

Leko, Eliasson and Djuric on if Paterson isnt fit.

Pack, Magnússon and one of the strikers off with Odowda going to full back.

Our pattern of play is not working,  so stick the wingers on with the big man and see what happens.

Problem is with Djuric up front we just lump it forward all the time.

Is that an actual saying?

I’d have gone with parcel.

I started typing cement, then got confused if the saying is trap a bag cement, then wondered if it was a bag of sand I should be referring to...

So I went with balloon just because I used to kick those around with accuracy as a 7 year old.

Parcel is good. Or exam. Um....

International break again doing us no favours.

On a good run before the last break but since it we seem to be unable to come out of the blocks quickly from the start. Not helped by mounting injuries causing LJ go have to compromise on team selections.

Paterson, Bryan, Pisano, and Diedhiou all out injured and nailed on starters when fit. We are suffering from missing that quality. Was ok with just Pisano missing but all that momentum is gone because our best XI hasn’t played a game together in over a month. The break gave us a chance to get fit but ultimeately wasn’t long enough. Have to hope Joe and Pato are good to go next weekend. Depth at CM in January is crucial but we all see it, will city?

Lets have some perspective, we have played with MUCH better tempo than against Preston. There has nothing much between Hull and ourselves. Difference is just a really poor bit of goalkeeping by Frankie. Our problems are that neither Reid or Woodrow are keeping hold of the ball. Reid has been the worst culprit for letting passes bounce off him and Woodrow keeps getting too easily muscled out of it.

Like to see Eliasson on, for Pack, who has been the poorest of our midfield and is on a yellow. Djuric if fit enough, or Taylor for Woodrow or Reid.

No good playing better if the result turns out to be the same as earlier in the week.  That sounds too much like the excuses last season

We are constantly being told it is fine margins in this league and that we are paying attention to details such as length of grass.  Perhaps the grass hasn't been measured accurately in these last two games !

We need a point today to stop a potential slump.  I am beginning to be nervous all over again.  Am I alone?

Bailey Wright offers us sweet **** all going forward. I appreciate he's a centre-half but please, for ***** sake, stop passing the ball back to your mate Aden. Doing my head in, take someone on, thats your job!!!!

It's not his job to take players on, he's a defender.

Id rather our RB not be taking people on if he’s in his own half... if he’s up attacking then fair enough.

His main job is to defend.

I believe you are, yes. There is no way that we will go on a run like last season`s again.

Middlesborough and Sheffield Utd up next...

Sure, it is disappointing. What is certain is we have 31 points in the bag whatever. Good second half would help mind.

Unfortunately every team goes through a 4 or 5 game bad run i think this is ours.

LJ's tend to be longer though.

We need to buck our ideas up quickly with a much improved 2nd half performance and at least a point.

Firstly as it stands there is still something in this game for us, my biggest worry is we don’t look as though we have a goal in us, of course I hope I am wrong.

We are holding our own in midfield but our passing is woeful, Brownhill is playing really well but he and Smith keep taking the wrong passing options, ODowda is playing well but he delays his pass to often and is dispossessed also his pass selection was brought to the fore when in a very promising situation on about 40 minutes he ignored Reid in a very promising position wide of the 18 yard box and passed instead into the overcrowded middle edge of the 18 yard box, Pack is a ******* idiot trying his best to get sent off 2 unnecessary fouls in the first 5 minutes brought him a booking and 2 more unnecessary fouls have left him walking a tightrope, none of his fouls can be described as taking one for the team.

Reid has been poor passing and especially his ball control, Woodrow hasn’t been bad but keeps turning into trouble instead of away from it and he is a very lucky boy he committed 2 similar fouls to Pack and has managed to get away with it so far.

Wright went to sleep for their goal and totally lost his man and Fielding spotting the danger late did not help.

As I said there is still something in this game for us, but we need to change our passing options otherwise we have no goal threat.

We are missing Bryan and oh yes yet again our free kicks are ******* abysmal.

No worry's re;relegation,Ivor-but the reality is we don't have the strength in depth to be top six at the sharp end...

10th/12th feels about it & we all would've taken that before we started, and signal's a big improvement-although perception will mark a huge dissapointment for some!
