havanatopia
Talking ahead of todays game:- "I think there could be three results." Now I begin to understand why Slutsky will soon be the ex-Hull manager. Football club owners do make some rather stupid and rather expensive decisions, especially foreign owners. This one certainly ranks up there with the Chicken Lickers.

However, I am truly delighted to have been proved wrong - it was a fantastic result that did not look remotely likely at 70 mins.

Eliasson messed up for their 2nd goal but really did make up for it for the rest of the game. Duric a beast again up top. We really weren’t very good until their second goal when we suddenly started to play and move forward in numbers. Even Magnússon began to look like a great championship LB. You could tell Hull were a team low on confidence because we really rattled them. Brownhill was needed in the middle and he was all over the pitch second half and showed energy only associated with Reid so far this season. A great win and comeback out of the blue. 39 minutes ago, JamesBCFC said: Very harsh to single out Eliasson there. So many players made mistakes in that passage of play, Magnússon when the ball went in initially, Paterson not even challenging for the header after and the CBs as well. It was a shambles of the highest magnitude with three or four horrible errors that could have led directly to a goal before Eliasson put a huge cherry on top of the cake. But fair play, he didn't let it affect his game.

Kingswoodactor
6 games left in 2017 before we can hopefully add a few new faces to the squad, as well as seeing where we are with injuries etc. In those 6 games we have some very tough fixtures, none more so than Sheffield Utd away and Wolves at home. I'm also going to add QPR away to that as we never seem to get anything there, but after some of our away results this season, who actually knows? Boro and Reading at home will also be tricky, but I fancy us to turn them both over as they will come and have a go, which is always better for us. Out of those 18 points available, I'd be happy with 9-12 (actually think this is possible) as I think it would keep us in the top 6 come 1st Jan. Could potentially see us on around 46 points after 25 played. Would be more than happy with that, with 21 to play. If we get to 50 points come 1st Jan, I'll start believing that there could be a possible top 6 finish up for grabs. Long long way to go, and I'm just enjoying the ride!

I was watching the game and directly after Hull's 2nd goal, we were in fact being battered a battering that lasted 10 minutes and could have resulted in more goals, we were in panic mode, until we took the game by the scruff of the neck and then relieved the pressure somewhat by Flint's goal. 22A
I did hear a pundit some years ago remark "2-0 is a dangerous score" so I looked it up. Perhaps this should be posted on the Tiger's Forum. https://www.goalden.com/2010/06/20-the-most-dangerous-score-in-the-game Your team scores 2 goals and it is 2-0 at halftime. You have completely dominated the game up to this point and you can’t help but think the win is penciled in. The coach sits everyone down at halftime and touches on some good characteristics of the half but is very clear in saying that 2-0 is a dangerous score. “Don’t get comfortable, the game isn’t over” is what you will usually hear from a coach in this situation, “and don’t let them score a quick goal.” As players we sit there and we think ya, ya, don’t worry we got this one in the bag, just relax. The second half begins and you feel at ease…I mean why shouldn’t you, it’s 2-0! Goal. What?….they just scored, it’s 2-1. Uh oh. The momentum has completely shifted into your opponents end and you can’t help but feel as though you are on your heels. Your opponent ains confidence and it shows because they are completely outplaying you at this point. Panic somewhat sets in and the entire team seems to be scrambling.

He is only 20 (think he has had a few prem games too) might be one to keep an eye on if our clubs respective fortunes continue on the same trajectory. Only 20 too. Ex Hereford lad. Wiki does say he`s contracted till 2020 though so would cost an arm and a leg.

bcfcredandwhite
According to the BBC Sport pre-match analysis we hadn't scored against Hull at their place since early 2000's (I can't find the actual article now), but I thought BoomBoom scored with an overhead kick up there in 2007/08 campaign under GJ? That goal was at Ashton Gate.
Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Nice to do to Hull what Reading did to us last season. I'm still laughing
