What? Disappointment.

Can't see anyone throwing toys about.

Two losses against good sides isn’t enough to suggest a ‘bubble has burst’ or ‘wheels have come off the wagon’.

In the context of the December we’ve just had, I’m not that surprised about these two results.

Taylor just blocked Flint's header - I'd be furious too! Dont see what Taylor brings to the game recently.

Nothing.

He has been abysmal in his last 2 sub appearances but don't worry he isn't Cayley Woodrow.

League 1 player.

Agreed. We've been struggling enough in patches to suggest we've ridden our luck a lot.

Had nothing to do with their 3rd, that was all down to Bobby Reid.

Not saying it did but can't stand that it's happening now. Leaving Lloyd Kelly far too overun and could lead to his confidence being on the floor if we ship 4/5

Don’t think that’s true. Compare that to 07/08 when we really did ride our luck (in addition to the hard work and team spirit of that squad).

This season I believe we are where we are on pure merit. We’re a good side, but injuries and a fixture pileup have led to two defeats. Villa and Wolves are the two biggest spenders in the league - I’m not too worried. We’ll bounce back.

This one's gone. Draw a line under it. Stick out the under-23s against Watford - 11 changes, tell them to shock the world, nothing to lose. Rest all of our starting players. That'll give 'em eight days until the Man City game. Go from there, recharge, reboot, and knock the shit out of Norwich, Derby. These things happen. It's only two losses in a row. Give 'em all a rest and let's go again, maybe even build a run.

A boy can dream, at least.

This match has home banker written all over it for the above reason, we have small squad now down to the bare bones and 48 hours recovery time since the last game is a joke.

Sorry but in no way can I be positive we will be beaten by fatigue and is no reflection on our season to date.

Is it bad etiquette to qoute your own post ? I hope the bed wetters on here realise that we are running on empty

I'm saying our results have been better than performances. That can't go on forever.
