Erithacus
Congratulations to the team and staff. Have to say I was not predicting a cup final appearance this season, but here we are - off to Vicarage Road and up against Chelsea! Hopefully this will rejunenate the league form and retain the top flight status. Despite the odd noises coming from Bristol Sport, we may still have a women's team worthy of proper support. It's like having Prem quality teams competing with League 2 teams. The League 2 teams are doing well not to get battered 6-0. I think the City Women will be closer to Chelsea than we were to Watford. And it won't cost a tenner to watch. shahanshahan
Looking forward to England's game tomorrow against Northern Ireland this time tomorrow, not just because it's their first proper game in almost a year, but also because of Ebony Salmon. shahanshahan
Forgot to introduce myself, I'm Shahan, and have been a Bristol City fan since 2007/08, and a regular City Women fan since 2018/19. This season I became the new co-host of Bristol City Vixencast, a podcast all about Bristol City Women, currently in its second season (formerly known as Oxtoby Revolution). Our latest episode (released a week ago) focuses on the Chelsea game, Loren Dykes' retirement and Ebony Salmon's call-up. I'd have posted a week ago but was waiting for my account to be authorised! I'll be using OTIB more to help promote the podcast (as well as contribute to all things City men & women). Please feel free to listen to the episode (as well as our non-canon interview specials we've done so far). Feedback & new listeners welcome! 1 1

shahanshahan
So it seems City Women's next game against Reading on March 7th has not only moved to Ashton Gate, but pushed back to Monday March 8th for BT Sport coverage. They haven't had a game on that channel for nearly two years & have two in a week (the other being the Conti Cup Final). Bit annoying as I don't have BT Sport. Hopefully there'll be another way to watch the game (and hoping the final will at least be on BT Sport's YouTube) Edited February 24, 2021 by shahanshahan

shahanshahan
With West Ham losing again today (11th on 8 points), if City win tomorrow night against Reading, they can finally get off the bottom of the table (currently on 6 points). Erithacus
Apart from being a vital opportunity to gather some points, it will be a chance to see some former Vixens, like Jess Fishlock, Haz James and Tash Harding. What we would give for some of their talents now. Reading have a good record this season but are not the most prolific of scorers. Still, the game's under lights and on the box so fingers crossed for a result.

Erithacus
Need to correct my earlier post: Haz James has recently left Reading to go Stateside, so no chance of seeing her. However, it remains a test for the City girls and a point tonight would be seen as a point gained. And who wants to look at the West Ham-Leeds game anyway?
