Bristol R*vers dustbin thread

I see the route is going through Lawrence Hill. Have rovers plenty of Somalian fans then?

They're trying to get new sponsorship, they've seen that pubs are closing and are looking for a sponsor who can offer them a 3 figure figure, is there a big Primark or Matalan in Lawrence Hill by chance or are they hoping to reach to connect fans and get sponsorship from the Lawrence Hill drug dealers....................?!?!?!

They're an absolute stain on the good name of Bristol.

Nick Higgs has taken on the preparation of the open top bus personally in order to save a few quid ...

...and comments on Twitter ...

I gather Bristol Rovers are having an open top bus tour to celebrate Grimsby's substitute missing a penalty

Bristol City get an open top bus tour around the centre of Bristol. The Rovers get one around Lawrence Hill roundabout? Says it all really!

Bristol Rovers are having an open top bus celebration because they came second in a part time, pub league

Bristol Rovers having an open top bus tour for finishing 2nd in the conference? I hope no one turns up and you look like tourists.

Bristol Rovers celebrating today being "back where we belong". That's League Two

Can't wait for Bristol Rovers parade tour at the Mem! Goodnight Irene will sang a million times!!

Sorry, Nick ... the only open top buses we hire out are in Bristol City colours (for obvious reasons) .... is that ok?

Why the fuuuh have they got a young Abu Hamza for a mascot? That club never ceases to amaze me with constant bizarre shit...

A couple of weeks back, I asked whether they had blue open top buses for Gas celebrations. Apparently not

I just saw the tour on the local news. BBC said "Bristol is a sea of blue and white"! They interviewed Dopey on the bus as they were driving along and I saw approx 10 people waving. One of those was wearing a red tee shirt and had a red and white scarf!

I assumed they were just on a normal bus, prior to going to meet the official bus tour. Hardly a great turnout otherwise.

Love how they're going on about how they're looking forward to getting 'revenge' against Wycombe. They obviously bought into that Matt Phillips crap the club came out with, or they see themselves as the victims by running onto their pitch and taunting their fans with one week of the season remaining.

I unfortunately found myself at Lawrence Hill about 2 minutes before the buses were due to pass, dreaded the traffic backlog. I need not have worried as I saw maybe 15 Gasheads waiting, they had a Barton Hill banner or something. Even that was too much blue and white in one place for me. Embarrassing.

Wycombe are a good side in L2 and will comfortably destroy them twice.

I guess the Sags can enjoy their cup final by taking 100,000 to Adams Park though.

Page one of the Sagchat forum. Poster asks......."Where are all the fans gonna stand to watch the heroes?" The answer........ College Green!

Hollowhead is right we do need them. Who else would keep giving gifts all year round.
