Bert,is Alfie Biggs the one who kicked a copper, and was quite often dragged out of the Black Swan on Stapleton rd before home games.

His foot slipped, it could have happened to anyone.

And he was only in the Black Swan helping the landlord to empty his barrels.

there are some common sense posts there; "There are loads of situations right through the top 5 divisions where smaller clubs are above bigger clubs in the league pyramid. If that wasn't the case football would be crap.Personally I don't really care that much whether we are above them or below them in the league.
I don't see being a Gashead as a constant mission to be higher in the league than them, the way I see it is being a Gashead is great and I hear shitheads talking about their club ( mates included) and it sounds so plastic and shallow. We don't have to be higher above them in the league to be better than them.
I've got peace of mind"
.

and others, well; "Gashead good, shythead bad, league position a sideshow for me but would still love to be above them. Enjoyed the Conference as much as league football but looking forward to the Championship next year and the Premiership the year after. Can't wait to see Chelsea etc at the mem for a season before the UWE".

Has anyone informed these plonkers that it takes years to attain CAT 2 academy's and even after that it's not guaranteed... Anyhow by the time they have cat 2 we'll have Cat 1 and just take all their players anyway.... Seems an awful waste of time to me :)

But where's the sh? This isn't right. TEDS or t'eds would imply the first word starting with t, such like tremendous heads, terrific heads, tenacious heads. Tuberculosis heads!? If indeed TEDS does stand for sh1t heads then may I suggest sh'eds? Like the things they use for merchandise (photo attached)

Simply TEDS doesn't seem right.

"Well known club, when I was growing up, always Bristol rovers, Bristol rovers, I remember they had a great following"

Fair play to the bloke, he can sit there and spout that bullshit and still keep a straight face

How old is Weal ? Mid 40s? So when he was a young teenager Rovers were forced to move to Bath because they struggling to get crowds of over 5000 at Eastville.

He may well have been supporting Chelsea when we played them for the final time in Division Two of the old Football League. No doubt we took the Shed End in the away game, and he's never forgotten how we travel in numbers!

My broader view is this could happen to any away team in the country, its just flipping hilarious that on this occasion it so happens to be them.

Yes OK they do have one or two OK fans, but the majority of them are grade a tossers. Have you ever had sight of their forum? Very stark differences between our fans and their fans.

Not only have their fans been involved in many unsavoury embarrassing incidents the club they also support is just as bad as them, trying to get Wycombe kicked out the league, trying to steal our ground, stealing the rugby ground, Darrell's 'happy days' comments, watering their pitch so they could postpone the game before playing us, showing our scores on the scoreboard etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

So add it all together and almost everyone associated with that club deserve zero sympathy.

Although many moons ago and prior to his Gas days, I think Darrell's radio phone-in is a peach and should be added to the list.

I agree Darell, I've got nothing bad to say about Mansfield Town Football Club either..!

How ironic and how did I not know about his links with them prior to May 2014..?!

He really is as thick as 2 short planks and a bellend of the highest order (Holloway aside, who is yet another level all together!)

Never seen these before. Very stark contrast to LJs interview on Sound of the City the other week.

Darrell has some big issues.

I didn't realise how tight money was at the Mem, think I saw him flogging them outside Joes Bakery thinking about it now.

one of  the best lines in a movie that I have seen is 'are you men gods ?' answer 'No Englishmen the next best thing' this i believe was given by a scotishman

From the film "The man who would be King"? Michael Caine and Sean Connery who uttered that phrase.

I am finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with all of their official boycotts. What was the official excuse reason for not achieving the normal sell out of the Mem which they assure us happens every match?

Expect it was something to do with the SAG?

Oh dear, into the 7000's already, a massive 14000 less than our average and they're coming to get us?

More hilarity provided by that mob....where's the clown who was on here saying they sell 90% of their capacity every home game and who was the joker who said they sold out every away game allocation last season?!

Do they really and truly believe what they say because it's embarrassing...?!
