@Vincent Vega could you edit out the 'c' word?

And that would make the statement OK?

What about 'you black ****'? Is that better?

I think we have all grasped the point now, and perhaps the entire post itself could now be deleted or prehaps replaced with a paraphrased description.

Seriously, I believe the Christmas school holidays have now started, and I would hate to think of some younger forum members reading this particular post.

No, but there might be some of a sensitive nature on here!

Most likely they do, but I see no reason to expose further on this forum the Tammy comment, nor the EH comment.

Hearing it is not the point, nor is denying that some people actually say and believe these things: I just feel there is no need to give them extra exposure.

I see no issues with exposing racists.

I've heard PNE are in for Bodin.

Using the money we pay you for Hugill!!! That will upset the Horse Punchers. Messing their season up yet again. Bet that scenario wasn’t covered in our Gentleman’s Agreement we have with them after nicking Taylor off them last season!!

300k should be sufficient to capture his signature. (The fee we paid for their star striker last season)

Although you might here the deluded blue few quoting 10 million for him.

He’s only got 6 months left on his deal so I’d have thought 300k is a maximum.

We’re also in for Lewis Morgan at St. Mirren, but they are demanding a loan back so I was told it’s led us to being seriously interested in Bodin.

So was I, biggest memory was the Chester PA announcer inviting all city fans onto the pitch to applaud our team. Can you imagine a similar invitation in today's football?

Was that before or after all the wire fencing around he perimeter got flattened in the charge ?

Think it's fair play to call out the racist horse punchers for what they are.

Admittedly we can possibly blank put the worst swear words but think it was posted previously without this so Vince probably didn't think it might be needed.

I think it's not an endorsement - the outright condemnation from all of us I think would make any young fan on here realise this just isn't acceptable.

Just when my opinions of Rovers fans couldn't get any lower - they now at not only being racist to their own players but also to players just because they donned a City shirt a few times!

What could be more fun that sat on your own in your car, watching Home Alone while listening to they gurt 'teds beating Manchester on Radio Bristol

:gasmask:  :grr:

And how appropriate is the film title ‘Home Alone’ for an event at their ‘stadium’ (tented village) - it’s how they must feel at most home games with their pathetic attendance figures....

As the Man Utd game approaches I am noticing more venomous outbursts and overreactions from Sags I know. Touchy ain't the word, it is much worse than that. They are making connections more complicated than the old 3-2-1 riddles, and it seems like they just want to have a go at any gurt Ted they come across just for the sake of it. It's what goes hand in hand with being a faithful and true supporter of a massive family club I suppose?

Is anyone else noticing the same hyper defensive attitudes of Sags that they know?

Their pitch was crap before this so imagine what a couple of tandems and a wheelbarrow will do to their 'Championship ready' surface?  I bet the organisers are hoping there's a bike race on. ;)

It's being held in the car park where a few thousand are already patiently waiting to be locked out of the next home game.

That's good as, even though he's crap (according to their fan because they lost on Saturday), he's their best  / only player!

Slip, slidin' away.

Dont worry, all will be OK when they have a shiny new ground, training ground and academy..................Sometime during the 22nd century :) :)

I heard that Wally is considering using the Mem to breed camels for now (sorry, train).

That's dangerous - they're a little bit too close to horses to be safe in Horfield...

Remember to do your bidding in the new football currency of the 'Tilson', an alternative to the 'bitcoin' but nowhere near as valuable!

My Rovers mate (word used loosely as he’s a right weapon) is adamant they’re signing O’Dowda from us because he hasn’t been playing. I’ve told him he’s injured which makes me a jealous Ted.

I’m so glad I don’t support them as it infuriates me when people turn up to footy and don’t have a clue. Not one of the blue few understand football, from the basics to the business side.

This does add to my amusement though

:rofl2br::rofl2br::rofl2br:

How exactly do they think they could they afford O'Dowda? They haven't got 2 beans to rub together! - All wally could afford for ground improvements was a tub of shake and vac, and he has hardly been splashing the cash on players now has he?

O'Dowda is young and on the verge of breaking through to be a first choice in his international team.We bought him for around £1.2 million  (3 Tilson's in their language) and his recent form before his injury means his value is likely to have increased significantly. If and when we sell him I think we'd be looking at several million or more.

Besides all that, it was Wallys idea that the two clubs did no future transfer business with each other.

Callum O'Dowda?? Doubt they can afford calamine lotion.

Apparently it’s SL thought they didn’t get the uwe . And Bristol Rugby will be playing there. Secret handshakes and all that.

Un-bloody-believable. It would be hilariously funny though!

'I think that SL has had a whisper in few UWE Governors ears, and i would be willing to put my neck out and say the egg chasers will play at UWE. The guy is a w4nker, ever since it was revealed that he had been giving financial advice, the days of us working with UWE were numbered.'

This must be tearing them apart. Currently 3rd in the league, about to play one of the biggest clubs in the world, positive articles about us in the media..

Meanwhile the Sags are getting thumped by the likes of Gillingham every week, in the news for racist abuse, failing to pay their staff the required minimum wage, horse punching, failed stadium attempts..

I'm sure their bitterness and envy is currently in overdrive..

I was actually amazed today. There was  a gas head on site  that actually wished us luck for tomorrow. He said he likes LJ , comes across really well in the media and also said he's glad there's at least one team in Bristol with some ambition and doing things the right way. :shocking:

The ones I know are nice enough people, but for some reason when talking about the 15ers they seem to suddenly become bumbling idiots who make one ridiculously stupid comment after another. It's a strange phenomenon, which I don't think I've come across with any other team at such a universal level. Would you agree with my assessment @The turtle?

This will put the Sags' minds at rest (It is in the Daily Mail so it must be true) ...

"Lansdown, who was on the Bristol City board in 1996, is now the sole owner. Under the Bristol Sport group, he now owns Bristol City and Bristol City Women, Bristol Rugby and Bristol Rugby Ladies and the Bristol Flyers basketball team.

Bristol Rovers appear to be the only sporting venture Lansdown does not own in the city, but Rovers attracted their own multi-millionaire investor, Jordanian Wael Al-Qadi."

Did my ears deceive me . Or has a gashead won a competition on Sam fm to win tickets tonight. Wow

Shame it hasn’t gone toa City fan, but I kind of love the idea of a gashead turning up at Ashton Gate, staring open mouthed as they enter the area, seeing it all lit up in Red, searching around the decorated concourses for familiar piles of rubble and puddles of wee, and then their thoughts as they enter the arena, with the views, atmosphere and shiny red things that they had assumed were only a myth (seats!)

Let them see just how many light years away we have progressed.

Then, if Matty Taylor could score the winner, it would top their night off perfectly!!

The money generated from tonight’s game , could enable us to bring a player in on loan which we may not previously have had the funds for , wages etc.

That signing could push over the line this season. Complete tools

This coming from the dick heads who lost 4-1 to Gillingham on Saturday in front of about 50 of their own fans.

Yeah, how embarrassing it would be to lose to Man Utd

Fair enough, if that floats his boat.

Every other Saghead will be tuned in to Sky Sports like they were the other week when we were at Sheffield Utd and the week before when we played Boro...obviously apart the the ones who’ve gone dogging at the Mem drive in.

It will be 4-0 to Man Utd. Plastic supporters will be jumping up to celebrate all round Trashton Gate. All the Ted's will be totally deflated and we can seize our chance to completely take the piss out of the lady

Ah yes, take the piss all you like sat from your lofty position of 16th in league one with the most goals conceded, thrashed by a team who have only won once at home previously, still it's a chance to put a smile on your face after all one can guarantee it wont be long before your club gives us all another laugh, it's what your club does best.
